New Big Horn snow thread for those not in the click

I thought bear lodge had pretty cheap beer when i was in on tuesday. 10 bucks a pitcher for black tooth, thats half price for what i pay in sheridan lol.

So the was cheap, that's a plus. How was the snow after a few more days of warm and sun??

Didnt do much riding just stayed at a friends cabin.

Since the mods don't seem to want to sticky this it will be up to us to keep this up for all to read. Looks like we got more snow down low than they got up on the mountain. Mother nature must be drunk. I hope they get more by next friday for our next excursion.

^^I agree. We are riding out there next Friday and Saturday and maybe Sunday regardless of the conditions. Good roads and good snow is a bonus for us flatlanders!

Well, looks like the Horns are still getting hosed. 2 more inches in Billings last night and still snowing, yet nothing new on the Bald or Burgess Snotels.

Apparently the snotel ticker is not updating, Bald show 6 new inches when you go to the snotel site!!! Hope it keeps it up through Thursday, and then clear off and blue skies for Friday!!!

Went to the Lovell side today. All, I can say is HOLY COW!!!!!! More info to come mtsummitx has pictures.

Deep! Never got more than 6 miles from the truck and found all the over the hood snow we could handle. Rode by Bald and North of the highway. We had many stucks by my wife and grandson. I can't beleive that people ride right past that stuff. I had 42 miles when done and was flat wore out.

Ok, didn't get a whole lot of pics but here's the few I did take (spent to much time having fun, and digging people out!!!) I had 37.5 miles and was on fumes WFO most the day to keep from being stuck. Snow was getting pretty sticky by the afternoon but Holy Crap we had a good day!!! Still digging down to the goodies a little, but with this warm spell there should start to be a very good base once it gets a few more dumpings on top of it.

By the way, ate lunch at High Country. Food was very good, pretty inexpensive (honestly not sure how they making $$$ off their current food prices), and new management seemed friendly enough.
