need help want to turn an mp3 to a format any cd player can read

I thought that was what you were looking for? Do you not want to burn a cd then, just build the image? Like an iso or something?

To do this, I don't think you convert the music and then burn. It sounds like you only want to convert the music, not burn it? The convert/burn is the same step. The image on the disc is like an iso, I would think it could only be read by a disk mounting program that uses the hd as a psuedo cdrom device.

if the mp3's dont have any protection on them, windows media player will automatically convert them to .wav for you as well when you burn the CD.

yeap, most of the time you just burn the disc as "audio CD" and the software takes care of the rest. If you have the option for CD-TEXT, turn that on. A lot of CD players can take advantage of that.

If your car stereo plays MP3 CDs, burn the files to the disc as a data CD. Can fit about 10-12 hours of music on one CDR saving them as MP3s. Also gets you goodies like name/artist/album display and folder navigation.

just bought a truck that teh deck is broke. it is stockon a local station that sucks, and i can not turn it up or down. so i made a cd that im going to stuff in it till i get a new deck.
