I hate it when you go to use the ole muffpot the morning after a night ride. Kinda like peeling open a cold grilled cheese sandwich.

God D@mn thats sick! I got the complete visual...................................................................................................of the sandwitch..........some sick dudes on this site :D.

Hmmmmmmmmmm. So, I did go out and get a newer, tighter, shinier muffpot! But I'm having a hard time getting rid of the old one! The old one has put out alot of good stuff in the last 3 years!!!!! I feel guilty for replacing her just because she isn't as tight as she once was.

The thought of keeping 2 crossed my mind. But really.......... who has the energy to keep 2 muffpots full?

Ultimately we have muffs for their function, not their shiny-ness, right? (see waffling between new and old muff)

And here's another question... is it wrong to take the pink lid off of the old girl and use it on the new girl? :confused:

You boys think you have delimas.............. ;)

I do love that the girls are getting involved. Goes both ways I guess.

Has anyone had a problem with the wife saying their meat, chimichangas, little smokies, hotdog or what have you. Smellin like some elses muffpot.:eek:

I'll make it easy for you. Give me the old one. I like a muffpot seasoned with years of use. I have found that older muffpots are pretty easy to get along with and are just happy to be used. Also there is virtually no struggle to get into a muffpot that has had its lid opened a few hundred times. A good ol' banged up muffpot doesn't care about being cleaned up and polished afterwards, it's just happy to go on a ride now and then.

So you can all send me your old muffpots, it don't matter to me. It's all silver inside right?
hahahahaha

and to think

That I waited all these years to get a muffpot. Did not know what I was missing out on!!!

<begin inside voice>
At that point don't you go out and get a muffpot that's much younger and is willing to be mounted on the tailpipe?
<end inside voice>

LMFAO. You made me any apple pies lately? Send one up. You have my address?

I used mine as a purse until it fell apart! :beer;

Question for you boys... can you retire a muffpot?? Just because it's gotten older, a bit worn, has dents in it, has a sloppy fit.................. you don't just throw it away do ya?? :rolleyes: Put it up on a shelf and dream of the good ole days??? :confused:

Old Muff Potts don't get old, they get better with age. They season....Like a fine wine I guess.

Perhaps, but after you've had one you want to try them all! And it never goes away... cooking hotdogs in muffpots is an addiction. And you should always play it safe with a new muffpot, clean 'er before cooking in 'er. You never know who's been handling that thing!

Flatlander looking for previously enjoyed Muffpot. Preferably from the mountains seems as they get it hotter faster!
