Mt Baker riders/locals, need a favor

Last time we had to get one out we tried to hook
2 990's + 1 800 + 1 dead sled = 1 great crash and no luck.
Retry with
11 guys + 4 hours + lots of beer = success and lots of new tired friends

I can see all the way to the top of Mt.Baker and beyond this morning here in Seattle. Hell, I can almost see the Canadian Cascades. It is definitely a chopper flight day.

Will be going up as long as the weather holds for the next few hours....he has another flight he has to do this AM, then going for the sled weather permitting!

Winterbrew- I work Monday-Thursdays but if you need some help sooner just let me know as I could probably take some time off. I would be more then willing to give you a hand yanking your sled out. We have an extra sled too, so you could have something to ride in to your sled if needed. I do not have a lot of tools for the extraction of a sled but it sounds like there are a few peeps here who may have that stuff.

Just let me know what you are thinking and I'll try to help you out any way possible.

P.S. just noticed that you may be using the chopper to get it out. If that does not work out then let me know and I will give you a hand.

one option is to go yank the motor, take it down and have it rebuilt, take it back up, go for a ride :). I know of people doing this up at bearpaw.

I heard that there is a couple sleds stuck up there as well?

Got shovel! Got rope, pulleys and beer!
If anyone is bored on Saturday, it looks like we will be up there just NE of Horse Corrall yanking on a sled...barring a miracle in the weather for the chopper.
I'm sure this new snow will be set-up enough to just tow it out by then
At least the elk aren't going hungry.

I hope you stuck a probe next to it. With the way the weather coming this week it's going to be buried. Got snowplow. Let us know when your going, will do whatever we can to help.

Don't worry winter brew it will be fine, I know how you feel. It will be all good.

Do you know whats wrong with it, crank or moter. Can you pull the rope? If I had a doo I would pull a moter and swap it for you. It only takes about an hour to drop one in. Have you asked your dealer for a loaner?

its going to be really good saturday, baker ski resort is reporting 18 inches in the last 24, I would just bring the cat back out and forget the DOO,,, unless you where really dumb when you bought the DOO and traded in the fine running cat for it, say it isnt so!!!!

A quote from the ski resort

"Forecasts are calling for continued moderate snowfall over the next few days, with freezing levels staying below 2,000 feet. Winter is going out like a lion, so come on up and enjoy the snow! "
