Any one wearing a mono suit, thinking of switching over, looking at the FXR and Tobe and Klim, really like the FXR even though they have no liner they seem pretty flexible, and Butt seems padded and enough layers to keep me DRY! Any one actually use one?any drawbacks ? Was wondering can you peel of the top when you stop for lunch?

You have to try them on to find the one that fits you best.

They take a bit to get used to and I only use the shell without liner and layer up if needed. The top will be fairly loose with suspenders on and ventilation on my Klim is a none issue. Any kits with a cover like the yeti is no issue with wet A$$ syndrome however open kits are:face-icon-small-hap Again my Klim suit did me well so far but most GoreTex gamins will wear out and the narrow bike seat seems to do it faster. Not sure how my suite will stack up now the second season.

I have two tobe's. Switching to FXR this year I'm 6'2" and to get the right length in the tobe I'm basically wearing an appropriately long tent.

I personally like the new motorfist one piece suit. It is super well made and comfortable!

I looked at all of them at the show and the FXR seemed to have the most layers in the Butt so I'm hoping it's the driest in the Butt, that is the worst coming back at the end of the day,I use heated gloves but now thinking I want a heated seat!:eyebrows:

Keep in mind that if they aren't made for snow biking, the *** will wear out in half a season and leak, and Klim doesn't warranty pants with worn asses.

Heated seat....

Take seat cover off, insert old grip heater liners, insulate so your arse doesn't catch on fire, wire together and to a control switch,,,,,,, BOOM.....

TOASTY BUNNS!

I got a leisure suit I will sell ya! The mono suit is giving me flash backs of 1990's ski suits gone wrong. PS. Klim warranted mine for wet butt. Worth a try.

I like them for off trail sledding or snowbiking. The Ski Doo Revy fits nice but fabric is not rugged enough. I have a Tobe Privus and a Tobe Contego. Love them both except the Privus I can't keep the dam leg gaiters down over my boots if I am hiking around in deep snow digging myself or my buddies out! Sizing is tough, have to try them on. The Med Tobe is a little baggy in the legs in order to fit my upper body with TekVest or EVS armor. Small fits legs better but too tight up top.

I run FXR bib and jacket. Good insulation and padding, the construction and materials are tough, also has the pipe protection on the leg. I would definitely get a FXR onsie. I almost did prior to my bibs but like the option of no jacket on bluebird days. I will most likely get a onsie just for cold and powder days
