Big thanks to the guys that stopped and gave us all their water so my buddy could drive out. We gathered up as much green snow as we could but I would have had to make a trip back to the truck to get more water if they hadn't helped us out. Thank you. :beer;

Looking for the coolant res. cap...

ah, gotcha. I had noticed some kind of crazy looking suspension under your sled. I usually carry at least a couple quarts of water when I ride but for some reason I left it in the truck.

A little sun on Saturday, the most I've seen while riding since January :face-icon-small-fro

Go back to work! Save some snow for us regular people.:beer;

I sure hope that forecast is right - the (supposed) four feet of fresh that was there earlier in the week was only about a foot and a half (on average) today. Primrose trail is getting icier and is no less bumpy than it was before.

In the trees and valleys the snow actually is good - up high and on the lake it is windblown - my girls could have highmarked any of the big faces today - that is how set up it is. Climb anywhere snow. Apparently a lot of guys were "sick" this past couple days 'cuz there were lots of tracks.

Ran into AKkatz & crew... had to snap some pics lol got a good poser shot on one of them for sure

That XP seemed to be doing pretty good too

The best part about today ~ was that Scott got the best birthday present ever - an amazing day of riding with great weather and good friends.
Happy Birthday!!!

Thanks for a truly magnificent day!!!!

Hey Jen, good to see ay down there! What a day! Thanks for postin' the photos!

We are heading down tonight and staying at the Seward Military resort for the next couple days. I will try to give an update after our ride tomorrow. Got to get back before Easter!

We drove to Seward last night and it was white out for about 2 hours, 25 to 35 mph, we didn’t get to Seward until 1:30 am. It stopped snowing at the Sterling Hwy turn off. Turnagain parking lot had about 3' plus last night.
We rode the Firehouse trail at LL today and the there was no new snow! The trail up wasn’t very icy, but it was the bumpiest I have seen it in years. Up top it was really tracked up from two weeks ago and the snow is really set up. We could climb anything today (almost, I did get stuck boon docking around a tree). I enjoyed riding with the Conico Phillips crew today, how about a discount on gas Snow flinger? Ha Ha. I have two more days here; maybe we should head back towards Turnagain....The sun did come out a couple times....for a few minutes. I hope it is better Friday

It was a good ride. And yes, lacking fresh snow. I'll pitch in for your next sled tank of gas since you shared your trail crakers and showed us those hidden 100' square foot patches of powder:D. Oh ya, at least you didn't boodock it into that tree...:eek:..looked like a close call. Courious if you hit up turnagain on your way back......It looked 5 star.

Many hands make light work. Prayn4noTrees.

Cool Pics! ! ! !:D

Snug Harbor

Went up snug harbor. Was about 6-8 inches of snow mostly everywhere. In the open wind took its toll. Probably should've hit turny... but all good. It was really warm today, snow won't last long in those clear skies.

Good Friday

Today’s riding was better than Thursdays; there was 6” of fresh snow up top early in the day and pretty sunny. Later it got windy and socked in. There is still good snow, but you really have to look for it. It is snowing/raining right now in Seward but it is 39 degrees and melting as soon as it hits the ground. I am hoping it is cooler up top. The firehouse trail is icy at the bottom, and bumpy the rest of the way up. Snowflinger, ask Sam about his trip down the suicide chute.:eek: Sorry Sam. We are heading up in the morning, look for a Dragon, M8, 900RMK & 800XP (the owner says XP stands for eXtra Parts “belts”).
