I should be able to go again soon.....I think I can have an available day coming up before Memorial Wknd.

So you have a shorted out wire?

Just running bad on bottom end? Does it clean up when you get past a certain throttle range.

probably a short...im getin fuel, but it just runs on 1 cyl. wont clean up past a certain rpm. i was just putin along up at lolo and it stumbled and hickuped like i squeeked a piston so i shut it off and checked plugs etc and it all looked fine. pulled exh valves at the truck and pistons still look tits. just wont run on the mag side. i put the plug on a head bolt and gave er a hank and it lit me the hell up so who knows whats goin on. im gunna go thru everything sometime and see if its just a short somewhere.

I'm out for this weekend. Not sure if I'll be back on the snow this year. Switching over to camping and riding wheelers.

Hope you find someone to ride with skisucca. pm sledfvr.

If it helps skisucca's a great rider and great company to have along.

Aw come on West! Its still sledding season!:whip:

Riding on Sunday in Seeley. Whoever wants to ride come along, the more the marrier!
WestMont it was a great riding season and thanks for the fun trips. I look forward to next year. You should at least keep in mind a July ride!

IndoubtGASIT it has been a great year of sledding. I know I said the last few times out that if I were to not make it out again I would have had a great year only to go out for another epic weekend after another.

It was cool riding with the core group of riders that I normally ride with along with meeting up with new guys. It's always a pleasure showing guys new places they have never been to some of which are very close to home and they would have never guessed that riding so good could be so close.

Although I've been kind of quiet about it one of the highlights of the season for me was the weekend myself and a two others made the connection from Williams Lake to Surveyor and back. It was good to finally get it done. The route wasn't quite the route I visioned I would take but ended up being "fairly" easy with only a couple "how are we going to get back down" from here moments. lol Another time we decided only one guy should drop in to an area to see if it was even doable and I agreed to be the one (on my stocker 800) but with a disclaimer that if I couldn't make it back out one of the other two skinny guys was going to have to come down and trade me sleds so I could ride a piped sled out if I needed to but all was good. If I were to guess very few sleds if any have seen some of the areas we rode that day. It's a route that we'll keep to ourselves for now but in time others will follow the tracks. The plan is to do it again next year.

Again thanks to all for the great season and for letting me tag along. Great times, great friends, and can't wait to do it again next year (unless I sneak out one more time).

The wife has a passion for camping and riding wheelers like we have for sleds so time for me to move on to other good times.

LOL.

I had a problem like that this year...we pulled my plug and the porcelin was ALL black and charred.

Swapped the plug and we were off and running. In fact, it ran much better than it had in a few weeks and the EGTS leveled out on both cylinders. :)

To the wonderful people who felt it neccessary to take what rightfully wasn't yours while we were up Surveyor Sledding......I hope you are ashamed of what you have done and that you felt guilty while partaking in the bounty of which you stole from another fellow Man! Shame on you!:face-icon-small-sad

HA HA, next time Ill have to hide my beer better. dam bear hunters!

Unloaded at the Pass visitor center tonight.
Not many days left on the east side. Looks like a couple weeks still over on the Granite side.

The gate to the warming hut is closed. Can't go around it either...no snow off the road. Packers meadows has a lot of dirt on the road through there...we went around it and went through the meadow...with the amount of water current going through there it's going to erode that all out pretty quickly. This weekend is about it on that side of the highway.

:)
