Lolo, Surveyor, HooDoo, Lookout--Stateline Riders Assn: 2014-15

Which way will you drive in? Elk Meadows road? You'll be driving a long way. We unloaded at the Pass on Weds eve and it's about DONE there. Hardly any snow to go on at all. It's about a foot deep.

Took a drive up Elk Meadows about a week ago and you could make it just past the seven mile marker.

I don't remember how far up that is.

It was STELLAR! We unloaded about mile 8 which is about a mile from the first junction. We had 10 or so short sections of dirt longest being 50 yards. At the big clear cut on the sweeping left hand turn it went to 2 feet and climbed from there.

Elk Meadows is holding about 3 feet and we went back to the back into the Lakes.

About 1/2 mile from Bump Hill we hit fresh snow from earlier this week. Bump Hill holding 6-7 feet and climbed up into the lakes seeing at least 10 feet. Climbed up to the ridge line and looked at the back side of Lolo Peak. I am going to say 2 weeks at least!!

We had an AWESOME RIDE!!!

I will try to get some pictures posted. I was amazed at how great it was

All kidding aside, I don't think mile marker seven is any more than just that. It just happen to be as far as I could drive up the road before turning back when I went for a drive. If I remember right the state line is close to mile marker 9.

same, i want to go check it out but its a long drive all the way around. My buddy just went to the fish creek side and said the sign says its washed out and not to cross.
