Before I left the weather guy said with the fog it felt like -3.

Everyone that passed me I'm sure thought that I was  but it wasn't all that bad and besides I was making good time at 30 mph or so on wooden wheels.

Looks good up there Sniper...you forgot to call me. I wouldn't have been able to make it Christmas day anyway.

Looks like great times Sledsniper.

Scott, the side roads were the worst part of the trip. You could get going but stopping I was all over the road. The main roads were clear for the most part.

I believe I'm headed to Thompson Lake (Maxville) area tommorow. I'll take a camera now that I figured out how to post pictures.

ya

I didn't call cause most people cant go on the 25th.
We didn't make it far Astasia split her chin open at Kid, and one of the guys with us broke his bars off.We went to the bowel after Kid then headed out.
It was still a good time and allot softer snow then we have up north.

Anybody in the bitterroot that's pretty skookum on setting Polaris TPS on an 09 800? Sled wouldn't hardly idle today. It was down around 1000-1100rpm and kept resetting the gauges. Seems like folks have said that's the tps, probably.

I've never tackled it before but was thinking I could use the PCV as a setting tool with 12v supply to the chassis plug. Not sure if that will even work. Just throwin' ideas out to see if anyone could help me learn a little and avoid the dealership bill.

Thanks,
Jeff

Thamks for the replies guys. I'm not sure about building the tps setting tool myself. I was hoping someone already had one I could try out especially if someone else has done it before. I may go see if the dealership can get it or try my idea of using my PCV.

I've been reading the posts about setting it so I think its doable. Now I just have to get some beers and tear into it.

Thanks

its pretty simple. just read it over a few times and you will get it. its really pretty simple and a slick set up once you understand it. im going to build my own once i can get to a place that has the right stuff...choteau doesnt have crap ha ha

It's deep out there. Even the turbos were stuck all over the hill today. I haven't been in that much powder since Canada.

Turbo snow day. Deep it was for sure.

I ventured out on my stocker and had a great time pounding the hills. mod03's turbo was the ticket for todays snow though.
