I think that weekend will work good for me as far as the camper goes I dont see why not I will get the mountain boat and trailer and tug it in with the Grizzly. Check on Bill and Crazzzy Larry to see if they will go too.

I'll pull another boat in and see if they want to go.

Curtis's put a "snow check dinner" together this year for the ones that snow checked sleds from him as a token of appreciation.

JOHN!!! It was good to finally meet you this weekend.
Thanks for chatting with me. I hope you got to cool off...you were sweating pretty good there in the sun. haha.

I only took two pics...I'll post them up.

WHO ELSE was there from the forum?
I talked to two really nice dudes from the Flathead...chime in here if you can.

I also me the guy who owns AVID products. Turns out he was a college buddy of my Dad's. They pledged the same fraternity together back in the 60s.

Burandt, Levi Levalle, Dan Adams and Keith Curtis were all there. It was cool to talk with them.
It was nice to get autographs, eat some burgers, kick some tires, meet sledders and some SWers and talk about sleds in August. THANKS Curtis...that was really cool.
I only took two pics...but here is what I got...

sledfvr, I agree you need some newer junk. lol 8-9 yrs is a pretty good run under any conditions let alone the extreme conditions that your iron see's. Say's a lot about your maintenance ability to keep it going. Good Job. :beer;

Scott, Nice meeting you. We'll have to get together for a ride or two this year. I was able to cool off once I got the a/c going but one thing I'm good at is sweating doing nothing.

Thanks to Kurt's Polaris, Kurt's staff, and Curtis for putting on a great event.

Yes, I was given the opportunity to ride the Pro chassis up at Seeley.

The single most thing that stood out to me was the ride (suspension and it feels light). The power is very much just stock power needing more like a TURBO. I wasn't able to tell what it might do on a steep and deep hill because the snow wasn't the best for one and they wanted us to stay off any and all hills that might slide as the snow conditions were prime for avy's and you could see quite a few slides.

The Polaris factory rep (Marty) said that to be able to demo mountain sleds then and in the future on the scale that they did it was very important to keep everyone safe first and foremost. It would only take someone to get hurt and they probably wouldn't be able to ever do it again. After asking everyone to be safe he then turns you loose to ride wherever and however you normally ride your own sled in the general staging area with checking back in with the main group every 15-20 minutes.

I also thought that the demo ride was a great way to market the new sled. Out of ten riders in our group I think there was only one other Polaris rider besides myself with the others being yamaha, arctic cat, and ski doo guys that all look to be having a good time.

I snow checked one thinking a turbo may be in my future.:face-icon-small-hap

Sounds like a good way for them to sell sleds. As far as the turbo thing goes, they have come a long way with these kits and when I was in Canada with Davidoff and Stainger there was 14 turbo sleds and 1 stock dragon in our group. The stock dragon was the only sled to get towed home with a blown motor. I wouldn't own a 2010 or older fuel injected dragon unless it had a turbo or aftermarket fuel box. I think they have the fuel control figured out better on the afermarket boxes then polaris did.

Hey Homos

Well I finally figured out what was ailing the old pick up. Can you believe a damn near plugged cat converter. What surprises me is that two muffler shops in Missoo couldn't figure it out??????????????????? Mechanic in Stevi had it diagnosed in seconds, go figure.

Anyway that thing is runnin like new. Now I gotta sell it!!!!!!!!!!! So I can get a couple sleds.

I've heard that driving like a little ol' lady going to the bread store causes that. :)
