oh well

I know I had alot more fun on my old 01 than I did on that turbo.

Maybe because I could actually ride the old one. That yamaha flat kicked my ***....

maybe its just me?

I thank alot of it is,how the nytro rides! that new rider forward kicks my a$$,I rode a new Rev and didnt like it at all! Its like you have to learn how to ride all over agian. But thats just me.

Same here. I can't ride the nytro's at all. It feels like they want to throw me right over the bars all the time. I seems crazy that I like my old 1-ton better.

I know it's not in the same class as the yammi's but if the pro rmk can't keep up with the xp's it will get boost.

I'll still have it too. I'm determined to get it running better. Never was happy with any of the clutch setups that I tried for day in and day out riding but was always able to limp thru the day with the torque it has.

I wish I could say that at least this year I didn't break down in Surveyor running the big bore but I tore the left trailing arm off before I made it to the outhouse. I was able to coble it together and ride it out though.

I just ran a stock 800 rmk setup team roller on my 900ubr and heelclickers in the primary.

I'll try that first out of the gate with it next year.

I tried to run the setups others thought would work for me but for my style and type of riding it was just to much helix and weight. I went thru belts and couldn't hold rpm's in any major climbs at times.

I'm not much into huge climbs but I love to explore country and sometimes you have to climb to get there so it would be nice to know when you tape it to the handle bars that if you don't make it at least the tracks still spinning good mph when you have to turn out or stick it. Belt fade sucks.

I lost a cylinder down in a bowl in surveyor on the m1000 this year, took all day to get it out.

The fun meter is far from pegged when your broke down in Surveyor. I've lost a crank one year and a stator the next. Towed the sled out when the crank broke and replaced the stator on site the next year.

Outside of clutching issues I broke a ring on our last day of riding Revy this year. I rode that out also from back in there by turbo. I kept waiting for the engine to lock up on the way out but I made it.

If you guys ever need a helping hand getting a sled back to the trailer don't hesitate to ask. I would be glad to help if I can.

yep

Don't know if it matters, but if I get the XP we'll have to line em up West.

I guarantee if ya got Westmont on your side,,, you'll get your sled out eventually.

Replaced an ENGINE last year on Kid. Westmont had an entire engine in all his cubby holes, I couldn't believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had two sleds choppered out of surveyor now. My wife was impressed.

Who flew them out for ya?

I was quoted $1400 per hour from Minute Man with a one hour minimum. The pilot said that he could get two out in an hour and split the cost if you have more than one broke down at a time (flying one at a time).

Wow I can't imagine gettting towed out from back in there, no fun at all...then again I wasn't a fan of the ride out any ways.

I remember back in about 2005 I was in Steep Creek over at HooDoo and broke a waterpump belt about 10am. My 10mm socket would have been very helpful that day...if I had the extenstion!!!

I had to drive it out about 1/4 mile at a time....stop and pack the cyls...cool it off and try it again. Rode it from Steep Creek all the way back to top of pass and down the 10mi or so to the truck....There some steady pulls that were tough to do without coolant circulation!!!!
That was a LONG day.

Good thing I was running premix and not injection system.

Wow.

Wow.

Just for fun, who flew in for ya and how much did it cost?

Minute man the first time around 2006, and Homestead the second time in 2010. There was two sleds down the first time so I split it with someone and it was $620 each and second was $1500! But the sled was sitting on my trailer when I got back out. I've ridden my sled out of Heart lake with only one ski in the past. When these sleds got choppered they were not coming out any other way unless it would've been one piece at a time.

Dang, that's expensive. Do the Canadians have it any cheaper up there? I was under the impression it's in the $200 to $400 range for them. WRONG???
