Crystal clear sky's and too cold to ride is enough to piss everyone off. This winters been a tough one. No snow or too cold to ride.

New to MT

I moved to MT recently from Alaska and looking around at areas to ride and Lolo looks really nice. I'm looking for a group to ride with that looks out for one another. I am 43 in good shape and I have been riding in AK for the last 17 years and I am very capable. Love to boondock!! If anyone in the area would be interested in showing me around please post a reply and we can schedule a ride. Thanks!!

We are riding Seeley lake tomorrow, having a mellow day I have to break in a new Pro (story to come later) and company is always good. Not sure where we are going up there yet, but probably will be sticking to lower angle stuff. Shoot me a PM and I will get you my number.

We are probably riding Lolo on Sunday although we might be dragging a skier along (unconfirmed - he hasn't seen what a 163 throws yet going down a trail so...we might not make it to far). That said I'd be game to break away and go on tour.

There are a lot of cool places up Lolo. After two years riding up there I can still find new places to play. That said we have been riding Seeley a lot this year.

A full length (75') waterski rope works great. We've used them many times over the years. Snurfing is a lot of fun, especially when the skier can go off trail while he's being towed. Up on the banks and down below. It's a blast. Like slalom waterskiing...but way more dangerous. HAHAHA

Yeah definitely more dangerous. Last year I watched as a buddy put a pretty gnarly sprain on a wrist when the rope snagged a stump, he couldn't get free fast enough and wound up getting yanked around real quick.

That said if he had been using a proper waterski rope it would not have happened. Its the ghetto rigs that I think get people.

The nice thing about the stock pro bumper is if the rope does snag you can count on that stock carbon fiber breaking long before sled:face-icon-small-hap

a buddy was headed into Hoodoo this morning.

I have mixed emotions anticipating his report for the day. LOL

Anybody riding with the guy whos pro ghost rode into a big tree below warming hut today? Sled actually climbed a hill, turned out and into the tree toward bottom. Just curious what happened and how. Sled was obviously at part throttle. Just wondering how it managed part throttle sticking.

Seeley has had the best snow this year! ill be up there tomorrow too, but my pro is all broke in. :)

It was really really good at Seeley saturday.

Then I had to go break my finger riding Lolo yesterday.

Whats the shortest anyone has gone on ditching the splint and getting back out riding? I think I could get away with 6 days right :face-icon-small-ton
