John, are you talking about THIS ridge where I scribbled in blue?

John, I remeber coming down that day behind SLDHVN. Very scary!! I think you did a great job describing that ridge. Here's a pic to do the cornice (DANGER ZONE) John has described a little justice. Please stick to the trees!

Scott, I have came up that road you did, and made it right to where you guys made it to. My favorite route in is the yellow, but sometimes we take the blue route to do it backwards. Fun area!!

The way we came down to the lake

So that is your drop down into Beaver Lake? Sweet. We were looking at all that from where we stopped.

When you went up my route...did you make it that day or get stopped?

You are right, it's a GREAT area. NEED to get more time in there.

The way we came down to the lake

I have never made it all the way coming up that way, we came up that road and didn't make it quite as far as where you guys made it.

Great job with the pic's and drawings guys.....

Scott, The picture IndoubtGASIT posted of the cornice would be located right where the word "spruce" is on your map where it says spruce creek lakes. Looks good but stay as close to the tree line as possible.

Rode yesterday, very good snow !! need more but still a nice day..

Report ....KLIM goggles...I bought a pair as I always ahve fogging issues and I have to say that they are by far the best goggle i've ever used , always wore 509's before this with the fan. But with the KLIM ZERO fog all day, a very good product !!!! Love them.

Yep

That's the Jumps and Bumps trail... More than one way to skin a cat there. At the end of your road there Scoot, u can follow the bottom, stay out of the very bottom!!!! Or cross the bottom and boon on up the right, good stuff all over in there.....

One of the guys in our group today was really liking his Klim goggles too.

Looks like my second picture didn't post, but it showed right under the "Spruce" that you are describing.

Got it.

Scott, we were going to sidehill up the creek bottom after we left the road, but just decided to go up. We weren't sure the creek was closed over.

I saw that old skid trail sidehilling the way we wanted to go ( 50YDS to left above end of road, it shows up on Google Earth). Will take that next time.

Well boys its officially game on! I got my sled back from Hamilton Polaris last weekend and cant thank Lucas and Mike enough! They definitely know how to treat a guy! I have never bought a single item from that shop but I was treated like I have bought a new sled there every year for the last 10 years from them. If you need any work done....I highly recomend Hamilton Polaris!

oh and i finally got my "upgrades" installed on Duchess :D boy oh boy does she ru!!! :D

GAME ON!!!!!!

It's awesome Shane. Great powder.

From the Pass, we did the first left after Packer Meadows and took the loop around to East Fork road and back up to Warming hut, back through the Powder Bowl, and to the Rock. Back and down to main road and over to Brushy Fork, Spruce Creek and followed up to Lilly Lake.

Lilly Lake was the best powder yesterday. DEEEEEP over there with a fantastic base. Once you get up on the bench at Lilly, it's crazy perfect over there.

I turned 60.5 miles for yesterday. Got back out after dark. HAHA.

194 this year total on ManBearPig and he's loving every minute of it.

Has anybody been into Surveyor lately? Was thinking about going in this weekend but wasn't sure.

I can't say for sure...but everyone is sorta standing around waiting to see if we actually CAN right now. Nobody seems to know the answer.

Surveyor is pretty good right now. Until they release the new maps we can legally ride it, as far as I know.

hilpulr would be a good one for our social group Scott. I'm not sure how to invite him though?

If I were to guess I would say the snow's pretty good in Surveyor.

It'll more than likely be a short notice but the next time I head to Beaver Ridge I'll post up for those that want to go along. I'll do my best to give as much advanced notice as possible.

John, I'd love to know your riding schedule.
