WNR, I got the work area cleaned up does that count?:) Also got a wee bit more completed before a minor set back not being able to mount the drive shaft stopped progress for the night. It needs a wider left side bearing.

mod03, I know you talked about coming out but it's looking like I'm headed to town tomorrow. I'm not sure for how long.

2XM3, Do you know of anyone local that would have the 2010 Boss seat in stock or did you order yours for your edge?

ouch

Man, I was taking it easy yesterday, and today my left wrist looks like a baseball. Wonder if there's somethin broke in there?? Everything is still workin though.....

Today would have been a good day to be out ridin. I think the TNytro might be stayin parked until it sells. Apparantly taking it easy is to rough on me...

sure was a purdy day though!

ragincajun you must have went back up on Sunday. I was driving to town and was thinking I should have went Sunday instead of Saturday. Yah everyone is parking at the top. It is becoming a zoo. Came over graves creek to Alberton most of the road is a sheet of ice. So I figure fish creek is the same way anyone heading up there better take it slow or pack some tire chains. Ragincajun are you running the stock secondary clutch. I am thinking about buying a team secondary.

Ya..much better day..why they dont fix the parking deal is totally moronic..good god use the truck area and make that small meadow a new lot.

secondary

Well I am ordering a team Secondary. My secondary is needing a rebuild. But
I think I will spend the money and get me the team. I have heard the help with the belt be cooler and shift better. My primary is working well. But I wish skidoo put bigger bushings on the clutches so they wouldn't wear out so quick. Yamaha primary last a lot longer.

the parking lot...

I think it was an act of congress to get what we have today. You should have seen it before, there used to be a book in the little mini cabin up there where you could sign in and give a comment. Every time,, I mean EVERY time we signed in and asked for the lot to be made bigger, there would be some comment on ours saying "Why don't you bring your environment destroying machines somewhere else, you are not welcome here!!!!" WTF is wrong with these people???? The one guy that ran the parking last year used to tell me I could park in the Skiers lot, because we were up there alot and the sled deck didn't take up much space. I told him I really didn't want to because I was fearful of these lowlife greenies messin with my stuff. He told me to park by the end and he would keep an eye on it for me, seemed like an alright guy. I still will be fearful of those people, it seems like they have nothing to lose, like other people aren't supposed to have nice stuff!!! Just remembering their comments in that book shows their greed, and their true intentions... I like to think of them as lowlife hipocrits that might be half pissed off at the world anyway for having to deal with the hand they were dealt to begin with. But, I've never been one to say what was on my mind anyway....;)

If it wasn't for the snowmobilers that lot would not even be as nice as it is now, they need to remember that.

I wonder if I could get my hands on that old sign in book??????

I too was up at the pass on Sunday. The parking has turned into a total joke. The biggest thing that irritates me is before the pass was redone (improved) there was 5 times the parking. There was one big lot with ample parking.
Now I wonder just how much of the parking pass fee goes to pay for the greenies salary who checks to make sure you paid for a parking pass fee. Wouldn't it be easier just to get rid of the Forest Service employee and then not have to pay to park.
I also find it amusing that there is about a bizillion acres of Wilderness that cross country skiers can go to where there is no snowmobiling allowed. Yet they chose the very place that is the most popular place for snowmobiling to try and make into there special peaceful place go. The very trails that they are riding on were groomed by the groomer that was paid for by the snowmobilers, yet they still complain.

there were a chit load of skinny skiers up there sat that didnt wave or nothing when i went by....at a meager 5mph(and yes i gave them a friendly). they all gave me the death glare. if they want their full on quiet wilderness experience they should...go to the frikin wilderness which they fought "so hard" to get and stay OFF the snowmobile trails....if we cant be on thier trails they wouldnt be on ours. we could say it is a safety hazard....but then again we would prob get shut down because of that....so i saw ****k them all and just run them over lol. ENVIRONMENTALISTS SUCK!!!!

Yup..correct we went by at a crawl and waved..just to get the "look" Those people are just nasty. And they smell bad..lol...durn hippies..

Good point as well with 8 billion acres of wilderness why on earth are u sking in one of the few allowed sleddin areas?? Oh what now? you need us to groom a trail 4 u?? do you have a horse drawn groomer?? last I heard the groomer has a big nasty diesel in it, spewing forth all types of hydrocarbons. BUT thats ok cause you need ur glass smooth trail to ski "cross country" on. What a bunch of two faced morons. And WTF are you doing bringin dogs in the no dog areas !!!

Its time for the good hard workin americans who care about this great country to start tellin the commie left wing feds to take there wilderness and shove it.....:p
