Today's Snow

The sun came out in the after noon and I just had to go for a ride. The snow is awesome. Climb some altitude and it got better, 5" of new snow on top of a good 5 feet to 15 feet or more of base. Not a track insight. What can I say get out and ride. Is still snowmobile season up here.

Huckfest?

Has there been any further mention of Huckfest for this Spring? I saw somewhere that AO thought it was the first weekend in May. Any info?

Suns Out

After many days of no sun, its back. Today is going to be awesome out there. No tracks any where. We still have 6 feet in the meadow and lots more up top.

Lots Of Snow

Today was off the wall. The snow up here is so awesome . Getting up here on the road is a good point. It is getting thin at the parking lot right now. Once and if, they start to plow the road good luck with parking. No Big Rigs. Went to Lola and around today, It is like big roller coaster out there. I have never seen so much snow up here this time of year.

Black Buttes Today

We thought we would go to the biggest snowmobile roller coaster around here today. The Black Buttes. You can just go any where, I think I found a guy that did not make it. This is just below the look out. Anybody know the scoop on this? Looks like he rolled it to me. This is the best year ever and the spring snowmobiling is just off the wall. Where is everybody. All fresh all day. Got to love it.

Buttes

Looks good, Steve. We were in there on Tuesday. Came in from the Hwy 20 side. Never saw or heard anyone all day. No tracks anywhere. Absolute bluebird day. No wind, not hot, nice and cool. Including some pics. The last pic is the meadow just East of the Lookout. The growler, which is 12-13 ft. high is gone. Saw a little bump in the snow. Lots of white up there.

I think I found a guy that did not make it. This is just below the look out. Anybody know the scoop on this? Looks like he rolled it to me.

I know my buds Willis and Yoder were headed that way yesterday. Yoder is on a new sled, but Willis already put his money down on a 12 sno-check...... I'm gonna take an educated guess that Willis wouldn't be afraid to put his old sled up there? lol

That is a great shot of Willis. Good to see your sled made it without hitting those tress at the bottom. Wish we would have seen you guys out there. Yesterday was Tim's last day of grooming for the year. Came in last night and the 07 road from the parking lot to the Independence turn off is way thin. I hear they are going to plow to Independence this week. There will still be lots of snow for next weekends Huckfest. Hope to see all of you out there. Stop by my jeep and have a beer on me. Love to meet you all. Spring riding is at it's best.

Black Buttes Today

Been riding all weekend and it's just awesome. Went back to the Buttes today. My son and Nick said they needed to high mark Willis's hill (after seeing the video) My son went over the top. After seeing the hill Nick said no way. The track on the right is Mikes and all the way up that hill no ski tracks. My son said that was a steep one.

Water

This week the sun is out. Like 70 today. It is melting all this snow we have so fast the water has no were to go. So my garage floor is now under 5" of water and coming up. The snow is great and the suns out.

Went down the road today 07 and OMG it is whopped out. Lots of pavement too. I heard that they may plow to Perrazzo turn off on Wednesday.

We got 3" last night. Snowing right now. Looks like winter out there.
