Went out this morning and the grooming has begun on the 07. Thanks to the Forest Service, the State of California, Sierra County and Tim.

New Snow

We got 6" last night and it has been snowing up here all day. We have 12" + and still Snowing. My son went out today and he said it was deep on the north slopes. Tomorrow sun comes out we hope. Will be riding.

White Out

Came in tonight on the 07. It is dumping out there. Total white out most of the way. I was glad to be in my Jeep with the heater on. Quite the experience. Good storm, I'll post depths tomorrow.

Wow, 2 feet + last night. Powder over the hood. Guess what? It's still snowing.

Ride Today

I am the house that you can see right on Coppins Meadow. Lola, been there done that. We are going out tomorrow to find a whole new way to some were we have never been. I will take you there. Join us.

Going out with Vince L., Glenn D. and a few others. Looks like we might head towards Babbitt and Sardine Lookouts and the Eastside of 89. It's gonna be a short day.

New Years Eve Ride

Had a great ride today but Peggy did find this sink hole. With all the recent snow we have had, the sink holes are getting big. No damage, but she did have a bruised knee. Be careful out there.

Awesome Monday

Went from Coppens Meadow to Paradise chutes . What a day. Never saw a track. Were is everybody? By the way Peggy, we have a new way to go over those Sink holes and creeks.

Nice Sunny Day

Went out today and had a great ride. After 6 days of no snow and the cold weather on the north slopes the snow is still powder. Its all good. This a shot of Jackson Meadows . This is were we water ski in the summer.

Rode today and the snow is starting to set up but still soft on the north sides. Buddy Mark just got his new sled today. Riding here for a few days and then going to Sonora Pass next week to ride the big hills.

Just Wondering

Just wondering how many people know were we went today? Have you every been there? Also how did you get there?

That be the old growler next to the Grouse Ridge Lookout. You being at Coppins, there are more than a few ways to get there. Could go Meadow Lake to French, over the ridge, drop Glacier Lk and boony it over to Grouse or you could come in from the Jackson Meadows side, hit Bowman Lk, boony it by Culbertson and head for the L/O, or just take the Bowman Discovery Trail Rd. to the Grouse turnoff and head up the road to the L/O. Many other ways besides the ones mentioned. Great play area over that way. Looks like a great day. Is the big growler in the meadow below the L/O fully covered now? Need about 13-14 ft. to cover the roof peak.
