HRSS HAS REALLY RELIABLE FLASHES FOR THE JAWS PIPE AND RIDICULOUS POWER NUMBERS-NONE BLOWN YET. TUNES HAVE BETTER/SAFER AFR NUMBERS THAN STOCK.
So you have to run the tune with this pipe? Or risk catastrophic engine failure with the pipe and y-pipe standalone? I would expect better out of Jaws

Buddy stole my jaws and said wasn't much seat of the pants with no tune, but also didn't dink with it much that one day. He ibex tuned it the next day and is pretty happy with it. Think he has about a full week of beating on it problem free.
He dropped off a new one here the other day
I'm not sure what tune I want to go with. Not really a fan of bully dog
Hot rod sled shop has some good tunes have a buddy running on . Nice thing is you buy one tune and can choose back and forth . He’s also I see today has a tune to run the jaws pipe on a 2020 to 22 850T
What’s the latest with the jaws pipe and tune setup? How has durability been and bottom end power with improved tuning?HRSS HAS REALLY RELIABLE FLASHES FOR THE JAWS PIPE AND RIDICULOUS POWER NUMBERS-NONE BLOWN YET. TUNES HAVE BETTER/SAFER AFR NUMBERS THAN STOCK.
What elevation was he riding at and what did he have in it for clutching? My buddy put the jaws setup with HRSS tuning and has had nothing but problems. Sled is constantly pulling timing on long pulls. It does have more power than stock but isn’t consistent. The performance shop he got the package from is no longer selling said package so they say! He installed the Maptun tune with stock pipe and said it was a night and day difference. More power than the jaws and HRSS setup even when running right. Dynotech is famous for surge hp numbers which are not consistent with how a sled is run. Rich Daly recognized the dyno surge at Dynotech and everyone called him crazy. Rich may be outspoken and controversial but he does know what he’s talking about.
We have run it from low elevation in NY to high elevation out west. HRSS clutching. It makes power but not consistently. I know Maptun has a setup with the Jaws pipe he might try but he’s pretty happy with the Maptun tune with stock pipe. What elevation was he riding at and what did he have in it for clutching?
I'm running a Jaws pipe and HRSS stage 2 tune in Colorado and it works great. I am using SHR clutching in it, also have a stage one tuned stock pipe with HRSS tune, both run well and are very consistent. sled with Jaws pipe just has way more power. We have run it from low elevation in NY to high elevation out west. HRSS clutching. It makes power but not consistently. I know Maptun has a setup with the Jaws pipe he might try but he’s pretty happy with the Maptun tune with stock pipe.
