I live in Pennsylvania and it's nice to see that at least 3/4 of the entire state may as well have not voted because a couple of counties with the big cities like Philly and Pittsburgh decided for the entire state. How screwed up is this voting system to begin with? I don't even understand the primary elections, by the time everyone gets a chance to vote most of the canidates have dropped out anyway and most likely it was one of the ones you were going to vote for. Why do we need to have electoral votes anyways? Shouldn't it be whoever has the most votes out of the entire country win the election? Just my opinion.

I have to ask though, why is it an atheist can say what ever they want, when ever and where ever they want, but any reference to God has to be stripped from just about any place but a church? Why is it that self proclaimed minorities are more racist and extreme than the ones whom they believe to be the majority?
As an American I believe this country to be the best in the world because it is a democracy but which by definition is the will of the many, not the few. We are starting to be for the few. That will lead to our destruction.
One exit poll I would have liked to see would have been, "Do you have a job and pay taxes?" Kinda like a guy who isn't investing in the market telling you what you should be doing with your money. You wouldn't listen to him but we listen to him on who our President should be. Ok. Done with my rant.

With all due respect, what my party has to do is stay true to it principals and not fold to the pressure of your party so we will be here to pick up the pieces when your party has ruined our soicety and has no where else to turn.

Here's a thought. How bout you are not eligible to vote if you are getting any kind of a handout from the government. Get off the government wagon and your voting right is restored. And this means all handouts welfare educational grants, farm programs If you get a check from the government, you can't vote. Does not include earned benefits such as Soc Sec or Medicaid as that is partially paid for by you. You sure aren't going to bite the hand that is feeding you.
what principles?like birth can not happen when rape occurs?like women have no choice on abortion?rich dont have to pay taxes?same sex couples have no rights?people dont deserve universal healthcare like every other industrialized country?...if your party sticks with their principles they are done..losing the support of women and people who are not white is not going to help them,the country is evolving and the republicans are asleep at the wheel..instead of trying to please the elite .the trumps,kochs,sheldon adelsons...etc they will have to start listening to the people instead of preaching their values....i have no affiliation for either party..i dont live in usa,so i see it like it is..not biased..the world wanted obama by a huge margin,sometimes the people looking in see things better..

I am by far not a Trump or a Koch or even close to elite. I grew up in Montana and I have morals and values. When I was young I to thought abortion should be a choice. I am older and much wiser now and believe that there are much better options than non chilantly taking a life. Whether that life was by rape or just a one night stand. There are many people alive today that were a result of a rape and they thank God that they were not aborted. I also do not believe that same sex couples or as I would say sickos should have the same rights as a married heterosexual couple living a lifestyle that has been accepted since the creation of man and woman. People do not DESERVE a universal healthcare system or even have the right to health insurance. If you are content to work at McD's your whole life and do not want to better yourself or your life then you should be content living with what you earn and the benefits you get. The bottom line is Socialism only works as long as there is money to support that socialism. Eventually the ones that are having the money taken away from them to support that socialism will soon tire and will give up and the money will dry up. Then that country will fall into ruin and only be a shell of it's former glory. Anyone remember what happened to Russia? It fragmented. Greece pretty much all of Europe is in dire straits. And from what I understand that socialistic healthcare system that you have up north is so great. You people are coming down here to use our healthcare system. If we socialize medicine. Where will we go for good healthcare? South of our border?
you are becoming a minority with your views...what if your son/daughter was gay?would you write them off as a sicko...cmon man...how does that make you a bad person by being gay?would you dis-own your child?i just dont see why its my biz or yours on who someone can marry..rape is a horrible crime and no women should have to bear the child if she does not want to..the one reason people come to usa for medical is wait times...money buys health in states...but this could be argued for hrs,nothing wrong with canadian health care...we just had a baby...check in on wed...thurs c-section as baby wouldnt come out,sun head home with no bills to pay,hospital even gave us a few supplies with no charge...what difference should it make with what i do for a living?as a human we should be entitled to proper health care regardless of status..all im saying is if the republicans dont do some soul searching 2016 will be even worse for the party

car every year? How about free gas to run that car? Shouldn't you be entitled to walk into a bank and take money out even if you have no money in that bank? Where in the hell does this entitlement attitude come from? I really can not understand it because I have never felt ENTITLED to anything in my life. And if I become a minority by my views, well then I would be qualified to all the free entitlements that the minorities are getting now by the simple fact that I am a minority.
Oh and by the way that care that the woman got at the hospital. It was not free like you seem to think. Hard working Canadians paid for that healthcare

I'm not in the military, and haven't been. I was just reminding you that they are government funded as well.
I I pay my taxes, I don't get paid by the government. My dad is a farmer, he does, at least a little, I don't know the details.
I haven't read the whole thread, so won't really comment much beyond that yet.
