I did it last week, still need to get a few things welded on it but its hard to find people with tigs in their garages around here, so that being said anyone in Calgary with a tig in your garage let me know. Haha.
Yeah I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it so one night I just went and chopped the back off and then I had no choice but to make a new one.
And since my girlfriend was nice enough to move out permanently I've had lots of free time!!!

How hard are these sleds to throw around and boondock with? How do they stack up to the new 700 and 800. I am thinking about moding one for my next project so all the input and advice would be nice.

I think it's "wicked racing" or something like that make a big tank (11Gal) for a IQr that will use the stock seat. Spendy tho! That one you're looking at is off an 07 900 RMK

who made an '07 900? Never heard of that?
You're right. They didn't make one in 07, must have been an 06. I bought from a dealer that was going out of business.
ware could i get the bulkhead?
The tank I used on mine was the stock RR tank. I think it's 9 gallons.
nice sleds guys, its already been asked but on those 4 belonging to winter are those screen kits or homemade?

Hey a 2006 600 IQ rmk tank will work with your stock seat! The under plastic is the same mold so the tank will fit right the only thing is you will have about a 1 inch gap it the front of the seat because it does not sit up tight but other that that it looks good and will work fine.
