Over 7" in Ip since yesterday!!!Looking like it might get close to 60" but I still think I am safe.
Black bear only seems to send a snow depth at midnight.
it was at 48.5 at midnight last night..BEFORE it started snowing. so add 4 to that for what fell already this morning so possibly now at 52.5 and another 6 today it will be at 58.5......

I am here live right now, and can tell you first person, travel is limited on all passes around here to chaings and NO trailers...we are getting hammered...
BIG storm!!! travel is limited from Jackson Hole to Homestake pass (Butte) to Bozeman pass...
it is still snowing heavily!!!
thsi is where snotel for us (locals) us known as only a directionally accurate datapoint...

That would be the snow flakes, once in a while they get about silver dollar size............
Anyone know if there is enough snow for the grooming to start? Maybe they will be out tonite?
Hopefully you can get out before the groomer.. the trails with 2 feet of fresh would be a blast to carve up.

Looking at the pickets on the iron fence on the webcam (which is working good now thank you) this morning I could see 4 twists at about 9:30am. Now I can only see 3!!!

Well i have been trying to keep up with all the posts, but right now im so lost i dont know what is going on.
What is the actual snow report for west? we have a trip coming on and are curious to know what its like. How much snow, base, and do we still have to watch out for landmines?
