Inviting all sledders to West Yellowstone

Just pray that the "divide" doesn't take all the moisture, like it usually does. The forecast looks good though.

Rode Tepee Cr Rd to the Cabin Cr cabin today.....not bad, but not great either. I'll guessing at least 2 to 3 more feet to make you feel safe. Much better than a week ago, but still lacking. We found some nice spots here and there, but 2 to 4 feet of snow with no base doesn't give you much protection from buried treasures :) Should be good be New Years though....Think snow.

Helmethair,
Charlie told me to bring a long a good tow rope because he figures we may have to tow someone's sled out!!!:eek: Do you know who he is talking about?
Going out tomorrow nite for the first real time since the boy was born so maybe I will be able to come up with some new snow dance moves.
Later D

New moves??
just stay away from the old "face plant" it gets good reviews from the audience, but has been known to break the collar bone...(resulting in setting at strozzies for days while your buddies ride)

Black bear snotel.......

Reports that at 12/18/2008 0000 46.0 inches,

calling for major snow on fri-sat and again on monday....
Boy I am getting thirsty!!:)
I'll have to keep a close eye on the road conditions to make sure we will be able to get into West..:)
I hope all the snow doesn't delay those flying in... I hear they have been known to close the airport for 3 or 4 days at a time. Especially if some of the snow removal staff are on vacation for the Holidays...
;)

haha he could be talking about anybody, i think we've had to pull someone out almost every year, worst one was broken drive shaft in the back of red canyon. hopefully it won't be my turn to get towed out this year, but i haven't even pulled the rope on my sled yet since the motor swap
