if you weren't on a pro, what would you be on?

cracks me up you guys that would rather pick the 10-11 m8 over the new pro climb. i finally got my clutching fixed and in 700 miles that's been my only issue. you couldn't pay me to go back to my 10M.

i have both, my 10 M is tricked out to the max with everything but motor mods and my proclimb is so much funner to ride. i put 700 miles on my proclimb and 300 miles on my 10 m8 this season. i cant stand the hard steering and buck/piss poor ride of my 10 M even with its exit shocks. i think the old M and pro rmk are super similar in rider inputs and thats why you guys are so easy to adapt to them.

i had become 1 with my 10 M as i owned a 06 m7, 08 m8 then a 10m8.. ill be the first to admit the 10M gets smoked by the pro rmk up the mountain, but the proclimb is a different story, once you figure out its handling get some skis under it and adjust the suspension the thing is an animal.

the proclimb is different took me 300 miles to figure it out but now that i got my riding techniques changed for it, its a freaking blast that is so much more capable and smooth then the 10 M.

selling the 10M and probably getting a new rmk or 13 proclimb as wife/backup sled.

or maybe the new XM if i like it test ride it and like how it handles.

the proclimb reminds me of going from the ZR/1M chassis to the M chassis you have to readjust your whole riding positions ect.

another note, i put the 12 skis on my 10 M and it made it darty and handle horrible i think a lot of the handling characteristics people arent likeing are due to them crappy skis.

But if i wasn't on a proclimb i would be on a assault :)

If I couldn't have my Pro I'd still have my 10 HCR.Although I would be considering getting a 13 PC 8 White LE 153.The 12 PC8 I tried was nice ,but not much better than my HCR.The chaincase On PC definitely puts more power to snow than DD,climbs better, rides much better on rough trails but as far as playing in pow or laying over, sidehilling etc it was no better than my HCR except with less turning radius. Now I see in Cat forum that they've remedied the turning radius, belt life, and added 2.6 lug track,Cat now has me curious, but not enough to get off my Pro-rmk.

Id like to try the new Doo, but if I couldnt get a demo the it would have to be a 2011 M8.

x 5? 6?

Rode with M8 the other day and we switched. MUCH more in control of sidehilling and downhill U-turns on the M, and effortless to keep on its edge while I have to lay my pro over a lot more or it will tip down.

Have inflamed tendons in both arms after a RRS course two weeks ago.

The M8 just requires so much less force to get up on its side and to keep it there through snow and whoops than my pro???

Setup anyone??

Have not ridden proclimb or xm, so for what its worth...

I've got a '12 Pro, and I'm having a heck of a time not snow checking a '13 XM. I sure wish Poo would put a motor of that caliber in their sled :(

i hear ya here. i was thinking xm but i'm going to let my buddies try it out first. i will be snocheckign again in 14 so we will see what i like best. i'm thinking the proclimb will be 13's choice. i will get a chance to ride the xm, but i can't help but keep thinking that 14 will bring a new chassis for doo and thats what i was hoping they would have done for 13.

If you want the best of both worlds get a SB Assault with a 2" track, swap the front ends and she will be able to go pretty much anywhere on the 155 that you can go on the 144 and you will have a blast on the SB, I have one now and to be honest it will go anywhere around us that the 155 will go. If you are getting it stuck it is your fault-trust me when I get stuck I know it was "usually" my fault. I may narrow my SB this summer, need something to make it different.

The point is to get away from Poo's 800 motor, not just put it in a different suspension configuration. Unless you're talking about the 600?

Ok, after sitting on one and trying to tip it I am changing my answer to an XM instead of a Cat. After talking to some guys that rode it they seem to be the real deal. Funny how much difference one year can make. The Doo went from my last pick to my 2nd pick.
