The velocity of the airbag crushed her internal organs. She had NO external cuts or bleeding at all.
but is it not undeteremined...i mean she still could have recieved fatal injuries and visible cuts and bleeding had the bag not deployed..???..how is one to know the outcome of the other possible situation had the bag not deployed..???..
and that is why the new avy bags wrap around the back of your neck and support it
OT, sorry for your loss..that would be a terrible thing to go thru...but it is a known fact that small framed drivers run that risk(my X was a small person as well and I always tried to get her to slide her seat back)but even you must admit that by and by safety equipment does more good then bad...there are accidents that do happen..there are things you cant plan for..but overall the best you me or anyone can do is be as informed and prepared as we possible can be, and be observant of the position we allow ourselves to be in...again..I am sorry for your loss...
ABS saved me from being buried last spring ,worked exactly like they said it would.(thumbs up for ABS) in avy forum.
Have a safe WINTER!
Did you cause the avalanche ?
Clearly, if your an owner of such a bag you admit to taking the risk on potential dangerous slopes during snowmobile activity.

Well i never ever considered one ,,ever..usually extreme boondook instead of avy terrian...but now i will...when i can afford it..not just for me...but just in the slightest slightest chance that i get in one...and the slightest chance that it does save me just once...then its worth it...NOT JUST FOR ME...but for the other guys that might be with me...just maybe if im selfish and save ME...i just might be able to save one of them...and i think they should expect that of me...as i should them...we try...we live...we die..we cry...truth be known that we are all eventually forgotton...takes a few generations but we are forgotton...so we really did not exist...so does it matter..??
Snowmobilers, Skiers & Snowboarders some knowingly and many not knowingly play on "avalanche prone slopes all the time". Many run out and purchase the latest in devices only "masking" there riding habits and slope choices on any given day.

I am done wasting my time with this. I am glad your ability blows azz so I don't have to see you in the backcountry. Goodnight Original Fatazz
The day is coming when the entire backcountry will become regulated and everyone will have to change there riding habits.
