"2010 Rekon Jackets and Bibs are covered by our "106 Year" warranty that we continue to support and will continue to honor."

So if you got last years gear and registered it online then you are still getting a 106 year warranty?

Like Napoleon dynamite said, LUCKY!

Bought new Motorfist gear this year, and it has performed awsome wet heavy snow and above 30 degrees out and never felt wet or soggy. great gear hope they keep it up!! not to mention the fit is hands down perfect :face-icon-small-coo

I've always thought Klim was very plain, and just not to my likeing. I voted HMK because I think they offer pretty stylish clothing that suits my taste, some of it is a little much for me but the coat, boots, gloves, and backpack that I have I think are just right for me.

I've never cared for FXR or Castle styling and always kind of lumped them in with the 100mph all-day-long trail bangers (which I am not, and cant stand that type of riding), along with Arctiva. I think slednecks offers some quality stuff as well as great looking, but they too have some extremely over-the-top styling options that wouldn't suit most serious riders who want to be taken seriously.

As for MotoFist, right now I just kind of feel like I'd be a sheep following the herd if I went and bought their gear. I have never seen any in person and have no knowledge about them so this is just my own reasoning as to why I wouldnt purchase their gear. I'm sure their stuff is great, just not for me right now.

On a separate note, I think TOBE Technology outerwear is some pretty sick stuff. Saw a coat in the local Polaris store that was manufactured by TOBE with Polaris styling on it. pretty sick, but I wouldnt want any snowmobile brand on my clothing ever again. (Rental ski-doo while all decked out in Cat gear = me looking like a total d-bag:face-icon-small-dis)

My vote goes to Klim. Always dry, always warm. I had some Arctiva gloves and was not impressed. Had a castle jacket and it was ok. But I love my klim gear. Theres a reason everyone wears and why it costs more. Just pony up the extra money now you'll be way happier.

Motorfist

Motorfist!!! Klim is awesome stuff too but gotta say Motorfist is durable, dry and warm... Very happy with their stuff and their customer service was great... Last year I had an issue (sizing) while in Dubois, they shipped me new bibs to togwotee next day! Can't beat that customer service:)

Tobe

They're still alive and kicking: http://www.tobetechnology.com/

Ya there still alive and kickin for the folks in euro, i talked to them a month ago and to ship a hoodie,t shirt and hat here was 60 bucks that was just the shipping we dont have any distributors here anymore. Their stuff was slick though. Some new stuff still out there forsale but far and few now. Went to Klim now.

I have all Slednecks gear, and well.. it sucks. I have never been so wet.. And the zipper in my coat is constantly coming un-done from the bottome. Needless to say, I bought a Klim Tomahawk Coat, and Freeride pants yesterday. Hope I made the right decision!

i bought hmk gear last year. paid for the lower end stuff and got the lower end fit. still a fan of hmk as its thin and durable for aggressive riding and i never overheat. tried some motorfist at a snow show this year and was impressed lots attention to detail in their gear. voted for motorfist for the sake of trying a different brand.

My wife and I won $2200 at Northern Quest Casino last week. Went to Allsport Polaris and got all new pants, coats, and boots. We had money to spare but it was expensive. Hope it's worth it. IMO if wifey is warm and happy I'm happy! Thanks to the tribe!

I really have no idea. But im probably going to be looking for some this season due to the fact that im currently using SKI gear.

Whats wrong with ski gear? I ride in my old ski/snowboard gear, think I've had the same Helly Hanson jacket for going on a decade and a pair of Burton snow pants. Might not be as waterproof as it used to be, but it only lets water in if it has been raining for awhile and still looks new..... I used to train for racing snowboards with that jacket, so its been through it's paces.

IMO The klim and HMK products just look like burton gear(or any other typical Ski/snowboard outerwear) with a different name! what makes "snowmobile specific" so important?

I say if it functions well and lasts, who cares as long as it looks decent and doesn't empty your account so you can still fill up your sled with fuel!!!

I just got new HMK gear!!! this stuff looks AND fits SWEET!!!! haven't gotten to ride in it yet but I put a vote down for HMK based on their involvement in the industry (I see them at all sorts of small town events and see the support they give for MANY endeavors that further the sport!) as well as their gear! I'm stoked to see some of the improvements over last years gear and can't wait to get out on the hill in it!

....all the best riders wear HMK
...plus some of the rest of us..BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP

I wear the Klim Valdez parka and love it- I'd buy another in a heartbeat. I would love to have a pair of Klim Togwotee bibs, but right now I just have some BRP snowbibs.

The other brand I'm partial to, at least for gloves and bibs, is Arcter'yx. I didn't see that one listed, but they make very good gloves and bibs.

Voted for motorfist just cause I bought their stuff this season, and again hope that I made the right choice. Besides that I had a cabelas coat for 6 years and moose racing pants and they held up pretty well considering my beginning years, but now the pants are starting to leak through ion the butt so it was time for new gear. I did a fair amount of research before buying my gear because I don't have alot of money to be throwing around, and motorfist has my vote.

Bought a pair of Motorfist bibs this fall. They fit well and appear to be very well made. I will update after first ride of the year!

Klim

For what it is worth...I sent my Klim Togwetee bibs in (they were two years old) to see if they could fix the seat in them. They were letting in a little but of moisture on the butt of the bibs. They had performed well since new, but I figured I would see how much they would charge me to fix them. THEY SENT ME A BRAND NEW PAIR BACK!!!! I even had a pretty good size rip in them after I took a digger and caught my bibs on my running boards. Needless to say, I am more than impressed. I had an issue with a set of their gloves they had (which I now see they have re-designed), but they have totally redeemed themselves. They definitely have a repeat customer.

Had Arctic Cat gear and tried Klim and won't look back. Klim gets my vote. There boots are the best I have had.:face-icon-small-hap
