Just curious

Depends on number of reps. Last year I could bench 285 10 times easy my shoulder popped out and I had to quit for a while. Still not back up there yet... Most I ever did one rep was 350 once I dont think I could do it twice though lol.

I've always been a bigger fan of dumb bells simply because they make you stronger. A bench with a bar doesn't take a lot to balance it compared to a dumb bell in each arm.

I have always been a fan of the decline dumb bench.

This is the dumbest thread ever. I can bench 27 pounds. I can also shape horseshoes on my dong, what do you think about that muscleheads?

Really, this is true. When he shoeing a horse he does it naked. Saves time, he doesn't have to walk over to the anvil. His Dong is 60 on the rockwell hardness tester. Amazing. PM him he will demonstrate to women only.

Hey, you want to go sleding with me? I could use ya when i get stuck.

LOL ... yeah, it helps ... That's why I deadlift in the offseason ... makes unsticking sleds a lot easier ;)

My backs really been giving me trouble the last year though ...

I think my days of being a wanna-be powerlifter are over :(

Not necessarily, barbell centers the weight over your chest ...

If you want to up your bench, you really need to do a combination of both.

If all you are concerned about is bodybuilding and muscle shaping, you can get away with never touching a barbell .... but for mass building, I'd rotate it in every other week.

I used to alternate between my primary chest excercise every week like this:

First week: Flat DB bench, Inclind BB bench, decline flies
Second week: incline BB bench, weighted dips, flat flies
Third Week: flat BB bench, dips, incline DB bench

you get the idea ...

I dunno, I'm not a professional at this at all. I'm sure there are a lot of guys who would give better advice than me, but that's what I usually do ...

Wow lots of jealous dudes in here. Whats wrong with a thread about weightlifting.... I thought this was a pretty manly site? Father genetics forget to hand you the muscle card? LMFAO!!!!
