New drivers for the 2025

Can anyone tell me how much bigger the new drivers are compared to the old ones and do you have pictures? Debating on buying a leftover 24 expert versus a new 25 expert.

I did the 2025 drivers on my 23, the cogs are noticeably larger, like the avid drivers. Not sure what you are riding now or the actual price difference between the 24 to 25 is, but the 2025 has alot of good upgrades.

You have to make warranty claim about ratcheting, then you might get drivers replaced without cost.

My 2025 146” freeride turbo still has same old drivers. This update was only done for 154-165”.

But interesting thing is, there are also updated drivers for 146”. But you get them only if you order new shaft. Part no 504154543

They can't be any bigger or smaller in diameter unless the add or remove a tooth. The teeth have to stay 3.5 inches apart
I think they are six tooth
Kinda see em at 4:25

My dealer was suppose to replace them with the 25's but they put 24s in again
That sucks, so you have a new driveshaft assembly, I didn’t think the older drivers had a separate P/N like the 2025 drivers.

I have my 2024 summit expert turbo 154"x3" in at the dealership for a ratcheting issue from last winter. The track tension looking fine it to me before I brought it in. I felt what I believed was ratcheting a few times last winter. Sled has about 300 miles on it. Last season I thought the track probably stretched a bit from break in.
There was also small cuts to the majority of driver teeth. The edges feel sharp to the touch like a knife blade cut a slice into the middle upper part of the teeth near the tips. Mechanic could not explain the cuts on the driver teeth. On both drivers had these cuts. Some deeper than others. The dealership started a BRP warranty claim when they could not adjust the track alignment. Which they checked and tried to adjust after checking track tension. Track tension was good according to the dealership. I ask them if possible to replace the partially damage drivers (IMO) with the 2025 updated driver. Not sure what will shake out now. Or why they can 't adjust the track alignment. 5 days until the warranty is up too end of November. Lucky I brought it in sooner than later.
