Where's the no farking clue option?

You are supposed to bench your own weight. So you should be able to bench 115.;);)

Dammit, I forgot to ask her how much she weighed...

:eek::eek:

Edit poll so we can see the results. I really wanna see some of the answers, I need a good laugh.

FYI, I clicked 225. Never tried for more.

I hear you! Torn labrum in 2 spots, torn rotator in 1 spot and 1 chromioplasty later I'm close to where I used to be. Surgery sucks!

Been there done that....sucks a$$! I had surgery 3 years ago...I still have issues.

.

most I ever did was 150 or so.

Never was a good bencher.

Better questions would be how much can you deadlift? I hit 315 on a regular basis, never maxed it. 335 on squat.

Even better, how many pull ups can you do? Again never maxed but was consistent 12-15 for 3 sets. Even used to wear a belt and hang 10 or 15 off of it. Worked out with one guy who hung a plate on the belt....he could also bench 450 plus, 315 was his warm up.

who takes pics in the gym. That's so gay gravy wouldn't even do it!

I was only kidding. Really wouldn't want to see something that gay...

And are you really sure gravy doesn't take his camera to the gym???:rolleyes:I don't believe that for one second.

i was a gym rat for many years....been out the game for 7yrs

i was more of a endurance type guy, always did cardio after weights, brench was my least favorite, every session began with single plates and built up to two plates and a 25 on each side.....never took time to see my max

fun fact: i have had no back problems in 3 yrs......and always had back issues when i lifted

used to do 225 and now after shoulder surgery just do 1 set of 50 reps at 70 lbs. on a seated machine that simulates the bench press. I go with a shortened range of motion.

got into the high reps with my PT and have stuck with it since the surgery 3 years ago. At 49 i love the low weight/hi rep workout.

Do sets of 50 for ALL excercises now and it really wipes me out.

Bench press sucks. Used to love it. 2 shoulder surgeries later every time I try I pay for it for a month

NFL routine - put 135lbs on and rip it as many times as you can before you go heavy, usually 40-50. Hurt myself in the summer before using this. Never had a problem since I started doing that. Also rotator cuff exercises and warm ups along with not going down below parallel. Most injuries from bench can be avoided doing this.

Dogmeat, thats big time! I like your goal ;)

455 before shoulder surgery, (from heavy benching) back up to 445 now. Doctor said I'll never get back to where I was and I'm trying to prove him wrong!

I forgot earlier,

the correct answer when asked how much can you bench, is always as follows.

5 pounds more then last time!
