Been here for a couple of years. I paid only to find out later, that there might be a better place.;) After my three years are up we'll see how everything works out. If I had to do it over I probably would have spent the money on something else.

Joined the Forum in 2001. Subscribed to the Mag because I used the Forum and figured I was doing my part. 2010 cancelled subscription to magazine, February 18th 2010 made last post. It was a good run, Thanks for the memories. Dan

I wouldn't pay for this site or any other, news and info should be free in my opinion especially when there is advertising on the page. The places on here should be paying enough money to Harris Publishing and getting enough out of it with the amount of people on here to keep it free.

To me it's just a way to generate more funds. Once the upgrades are paid for and in full use all the money from members and advertisers are going into the pockets of the publishers for what benefit? Are there going to be continious upgrades on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis?

I have been here since 03, and I will pay. You're going to have to pay for a site this good sooner or later.

Dissapointed

I have been a member since 2001. I have been sledding since 1979 (started on a 340 txl...she was a runner) I used to work in a Polaris shop and was a Master Technician for Polaris. I went to update school over in Bend Oregon and took the test when I was 19 while I was going to college. I have spent hundreds of hours on here helping others. I have shipped take off parts to others for free (I even paid for the shipping). And others have done the same for me. THIS IS THE VALUE OF THIS FORUM. Its not something snowest provided, they just gave us a forum to collaborate in. I purchased there magazine in return and have even entered there mod sled show (and didn't even get so much as a pass to enter the show for it). I have purchased thousands of dollars of products from their sponsors. And for all of this, I get asked to pay a ridiculously high fee to come here and visit with/help others.

So today I put up a post saying that I won't be here much any more but will be over at the rebels site and would be glad to help so if anyone wanted to get in touch with me, they could find me over there. And it was immediately deleted by catwoman. She said that when I joined I agreed that I would not post anything that was threatening, derogatory, defamatory etc. etc. So I am wondering, what did I say that was any of these things? It was deleted because I said that I would be on another forum and you could find me there. And I did not post a link to that forum or even reference it directly.

I am sure this post will be deleted as well. This really unbelievable. I have never had a post deleted before nor have I violated any of the snowest rules.

Been here since Trailconditions.com was the biggest sledding site.....it went pay and everyone left and came here. Sound familiar?

Just over a year as a member and a bit longer as a guest. Decided to pay so I will be around for a bit more.

Who is voting all these polls back to the top?

Its funny to read back on the posts in here and see who stuck to their promise of paying or not paying?
