Just curious. How long have you been a member of the Snowest forums? Will you stay or will you go?

Myself, 1999 and I will purchase a membership.

im a young gun by forum standards only been here for 2 years.. but im only 19.. so that makes it a littler different i guess.

Honestly, if it wasnt for this site, i might still be riding a modded 600 with some holes drilled in it, now i have a full motor/turbo conversion that im working out. This site has definately has inspired me to try a lot of crazy stuff. I have met a bunch of awsome people, rode with a bunch, heck, made an awsome friend on here recently, lots of fun people to work/play/hang with. Gotten more tech info then my poor little mind can hold. Bullchited endless days away in the max thread, its a good place.. just dont want to see it die.

Ive been here for about half a year now I have got tons of useful info that even a dealer here would not even know or tell me.I have bought a sled off the swap meet and met quite a few good people.I have no problem paying a little to learn alot.:beer;:)

Most users ever online was 7,603, Yesterday at 09:25 PM.

That's a lot of peeps online at once! Wow.....

I've been trawling this forum since 2003, and joined in Fall 2004. Not that many posts from me, I'm one of the people who have TAKEN away more enjoyment than I have been able to give, certainly given the fact that my actual mechanical skills are still running BETA v.2.0.

This forum has some real stand-up Joe's, and I have learned alot from the adults here. The adolescent contingent aside, it's a great site. I'll stay until they make me go away, even though I signed up at the other new startup alternative last week. My spirit on the matter is positive, it needs to be. There are bigger battles in life to fight over, and losing cyber friends and these social connections isn't one of them. I'd rather be the kind of person who others would want to be around, and in that, I meet more people I'm likely to appreciate the most. By giving my best face, all the time - regardless of circumstances, I have the best shot at making an aquaintance I'd want to keep for a lifetime - cyberwise or otherwise.

(Scut Farkus - quit stalking me!) lol :face-icon-small-hap

Anyway, lots of people on line just now, SW forum has good members, it's greatest strength from the character of it's members.

Cyber stalkers

Hey, just to clarify my statement here below, given the context.....

I met a 4M member on Sunday, "SCUT FARKUS." We had never met before in person. I sat behind him in an airplane, chatting and as we were getting aquainted while flying over Island Park, I said to him, "Hey - you've heard of 'cyberstalkers' haven't you? Well, me and REVPILOT are both axe murderers.... so I guess pretty much you're screwed!"

We all laughed, and nobody had to jump from the plane - had a happy landing.

I've been on here since the 2004/2005 winter. I haven't decided whether I'll stay or go, but I sure have learned a lot on here. Also have probably sold $1000 in used parts on here, bought well over $1500 in parts and bought 2 sleds. I've also met few great people! Well maybe I'll stay, I've spent to much time on here to quit now :D

Ive been browsing snowest since 06 and I love it i am on here all the time, Ive partied with ski-doin it because of snowest, and I'll pay but if the forum becomes a ghost forum, I have all the others named recently in my favs. :D

Joined 4 -5 years ago. (Edit: when I first responded I just looked at my join date. Now realize that's when the forum changed software.) Lurked some before that. Saved me lots of $$ and made me much smarter (though I still know very little). So long as it stays viable with good peeps and good info I don't mind paying. Cheaper than **** and more addicting!
