Ive been here since the trailconditions days. I think I joined TC in 96 or 97 and snowest in 98 or 99.
Best forum ever. Hope it doesn't change much. We have seen a lot of changes to the forum over the years and survived it. This is just a minor stumbling block. Wish it didnt go this way, because I do believe the member numbers will suffer.

Been here since the very very start! Suffered through all of these changes and updates. Have litterally "broke bread and shared wine" with well over 1000 wonderful people directly met through this venue (maybe 2000 I don't know...many many..and even the ones that were complete DIP$hits on here turned out to be pretty wonderful folk when we got face to face). Most of my current best friends are met through snowmobiling and Snowest. I have cried, loved, fought, worked, played, buried friends, and generally LIVED this world for the past decade plus. I feel a sense of "ownership" from all of my activities but know and remember where it all comes from. Snowest and the powers that be have earned my $10 or darn near any amount (since I also have paid to work here and at their shows as well)!

Here is how I think on this even though I'm not thrilled with the changes..In today's day and age everyone wants to be prepaid for services rendered. Harris Pub and Snowest put up with us and provided us an incredible FREE SERVICE for years and years absolutely NO CHARGE. Time to pay up. I'm first send me a bill!

I have been here for 8 years.

I respect my friends' decision to stay and pay. It is obvious my feelings run pretty deep concerning this. I am not going to get into my feelings here, since the powers that be asked me to stop. I will not pay, not because I can't afford it....but because my reason is based on principles. I am deeply saddened that I will be leaving this community...it downright hurts. I do thank SW for being a vehicle to met life long friends and also for creating a place to share our love of the sport. One of my life long friends posted on this page. We have made some memories my friend!

The admin thinks I have been on a crusade to damage SW. Not true whatsoever....yes I am passionate, hurt, and down right pissed off. I think the man that created this business would not like what is going on here, but that is my opinion. I respect him and I think he is a great man. I do not wish to damage the business he created. If anything, I am more passionate about saving it because of him.

I will be around until this site goes to a paid site. I think most of you, that I have created bonds with, know where to find me. If you do not....please send me a PM.

April of 2002, I was 16. I will not pay, not for what they changed the forum into.

And how do you know it will not grow into something even better than before? I wasn't real supportive of auto oil injection or efi systems either, but they sure have turned out to be better than the old system.

You should give it a year to see what it materializes into for the cheaper price you would get as a current snowester.
