How 'bout them snowies?

Ollie,

We did some of the same on Saturday. Went on a obscure route from R-Cr Knoll over to P. I'm guessing the snow in there was about twice as deep as last year. Was a lot tighter because you're up in the tree limbs more.

Busting branches, suck, taking out small trees with the nose to make a path, suck, laughing at my bud who has the dinner plate Simmons trying to get thru the tight stuff, suck, hufffin & puffin like a chain smoker, suck, deep hidden meadows with no old tracks ... priceless!

Thank goodness for the HighJacker !! :D:beer;

Huffin, puffin and cussin.
Now be honest, how many times did you swear you were going to get in better shape and start workin out?:D
I thanked god I put that TCP bumper on both sleds all day saturday.
Did discover I need to put some shock tower vents in though. After about an hour of slow and go and the belts on both sleds started squeekin at idle. So shock tower vents it is.

The snow was awesome Saturday morning, we broke trail all morning, were the first ones to Windy Hill and four others showed up after we messed around on it for a bit. Snow was so deep and we played in it so much we only rode from about 8:00- noon. That jack arse you speak of parked his truck right behind my trailer so we had to pull onto the road to load back up. What is with all the guys double parking on the highway, makes for a beotch when you try to get out, and the parking wasn't even that bad at noon, trailers weren't even to the first pull out yet!!

Is that the hill on the west side of O? If not that one, the one off X?
Do either of those hills have names? Especially the one at the bend in X, as a buddy ghost rode that one down and asked if it had a name and I said I didn't know of one.

That hill is called windy hill and it's up there!!! Not the hill you're thinking of. It's on the other side. Not many know of this so I'll leave it at that.

Ditto. Still looks good. Headed out Fri a.m. How long will it take to drive from Denver airport to Centennial in a rental? I presume stay on 25 to I80 rather than 287? I see they're saying another foot tonight. About where should I expect to run into problem driving? Thanks.

We have a buddy that always does that drive with a rental. Depends on weather conditions/roads......but would plan on 2 1/2 hours

Snows awesome right now if the wind quits tommorow it should be another epic weekend. Watch for road closers guys, I-80 west bound from Laramie has been closed for two days and If the wind keeps up I would plan on another two days. Also I-80 betyween Cheyenne and Laramie is Icy and windy, actually drove home sideways tonight! If coming from Colorado take 287 from Fort Collins. All you guys heading up friday stay clear of the main trails, that's all we ride(HAHAHAHA). Someone report back how the snow is tommorow, so I can bring an extra shovel, winch and snow bungie, we are taking a group of 3 from South Dakota, should be fun!!!!:D:beer;

well we are in the snowies now and the snow is awesome but there is no visibility. 60-70 mph wind gusts can hardley see your ski tips when crossing the libby flats on trail u but once in the trees it isn't too bad but the snow up there is great. just wish this darn wind would quit.
