How 'bout them snowies?

Finally the weatherman got it right. There's about 5 inches of fresh in town this morning (haven't been up the mountain yet), and there's a reasonable chance for more well into next week. Now I just need to find someone to do my job so I can go play.

Yep, that was him. He's getting good at digging himself out. It definitely wasn't his last one that day, but thats how you learn.

that was us down there for a little bit. 8 of us. that day was some awesome riding. did that skidoo get the high mark after i left, i hope that he did. he was getting really close.

The yellow XRS? No, I don't think he ever did. No one could beat that doo that was runnin at it when we showed up, must of been in your group. I dont know if it was a 1000 or not, but it sure had some ponies runnin. I tried to get him to take the xp up, but he said he wasn't ready for it yet.

go play? I do believe you just got back from vegas. ;)

Why??

Don't go and stroke Bish's ego like that. He'll never get his head in the camper!

Yeah, yeah. That's probably why no one will cover for me. I'm going to try to make it out this weekend, but I'm pretty sure I'll be able make it out during the week. Can't beat the weekday riding - nobody else around!

Yesterday was great. We didn't get up to Green Rock until about 2:00pm. Got the pole position in the lot for once. Madcatter and I never even tried to make it to the back side. The snow on the front side was unbelievable. The snow in our play areas was anywhere from 18" to 24". My sled is warming up in the garage right now so I can work on it again. Hope to make it back up Monday.

Sure was a pretty area.
It's a good thing tree sap adds horsepower. I should have the fastest sled on the planet. The trees started out nice and wide spaced and fun to got thru. However.
Once we were committed, the trees got so tight the sleds didn't always fit between them. There wasn't any way to turn around short of just picking the front end up and flipping it over backwards. I don't bench press 600lbs very well.
Took us 30 minutes to get into trouble and 4 hours to get back out.
Needless to say. By the time we got out, we were done. Totally out of gas and I am not talking about the sleds.

Some really wild stucks though.

Ollie, sounds like you had fun :)

I wound up wacking a tree -really- hard. Messed up the right side panel worse, bent the hell out of the steering hoop and bent quite a bit of other stuff. Made it to the warming hut, kicked/beat things back straight enough to continue riding. Kinda worried about how much its gonna cost to fix, gonna have to turn this one in on insurance

and tmk50, nice to meet you in person :D

Anyone see the dipchit that caused the traffic jam trying to park his 4place? What a cluster f%ck.
At around 3pm at Albany in the red pickup? I was the white crewcab right behind him that was then stopped by some random guy that wanted to talk and create another traffic jam, at least I left enough room for the guy in the dodge behind me to go around.

No this was about 8a.m. but it was a red ford with Colorado plates if I remember right. The guy pulled up to a parking spot that was way to small for his 4place and truck. Gets out unloads his trailer, and attepts to push the trailer into a little spot. Well him and his buddies couldnt get her in the spot so about 20 people that were held up behind him helped squeeze it in. 30mins later traffic flowed again, not to mention lots of P.O. sledders

Awesome Weekend of Riding

This was one of the most awesome weekends of riding ever!!! Other than the visibility problems caused by the wind.

The snow was awesome Saturday morning, we broke trail all morning, were the first ones to Windy Hill and four others showed up after we messed around on it for a bit. Snow was so deep and we played in it so much we only rode from about 8:00- noon. That jack arse you speak of parked his truck right behind my trailer so we had to pull onto the road to load back up. What is with all the guys double parking on the highway, makes for a beotch when you try to get out, and the parking wasn't even that bad at noon, trailers weren't even to the first pull out yet!!
