We just had one bubble burst and now the speculators are at it again.
Wonder how many times we have to dance this dance before they take oil OFF the speculation markets and back to supply and demand.

$1.29 in tax but I see that going much higher to help sell the new & improved GM & Chrysler vehicles when they arive.

Agree, only way that the prices will stay in check is if the oil market comes down off of comodities and goes back to supply and demand. It is nobody's fault but those who speculate the prices, prob. making more from the oil companies to keep the prices high. I just love how our supplies are at an all time high, consumption is going down, yet the local pump rises faster than the news of oil prices rising..... gotta love greed in the big oil.

Did they reopen the plants? Last I knew was that 6 plants had been closed due to falling gas prices?

We have two I believe that are empty, not running in our state, and one of them I think is half done being built, don't think it is going to be finished either.....

Passed a law in our state that we the tax payer gets to put in new pumps at privately owned gas stationsfor big money oil and gas companies, pumps that allow you to choose the amount of ethanol you want to mix, up to 15% I think.


BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY and BIGGEST UNDERLYING WELFARE PROGRAM in the US. We need to stop dumping money into this program and use that money towards better things, like paying back our national debt.
