haydays

Haydays was good in lino lakes Mn . Lots of good swappin and deals to be had, tons of factory and after market retailers, and the weather was 72 degrees.
Although after walking the entire swap which would have to be at least 6 miles it's kinda irritating to see so much crap for sale! Theres no need for a guy to be selling hubcaps and model trains at haydays! I seen swappers with no sled stuff at all but vaccum cleaners, beach towels, rugs, old tractor owners manuals etc!!!!!!!

Im sure if they would throw those folks out it would shave 3 hours of walkin through the swap so a guy could get to the races and performance retailers !

Same things as always. It's like the peeps selling eye glass cleaner at every other show across the country. These types of events just pull those people together.

i seen the dumb **** with the van and trailer full of hub caps and nothing else

yes there was alot of junk,

and alot of arctic cat parts and sleds for sale,

im sad i didn't spend over $100 there didn't find what i need :(

alot of junk that is forsure and alot of good deals i seen people get

was a good time:D

I saw the vacuum cleaners for sale to, what a joke. I also walked the whole swap today, my legs are telling me that was a bad idea. They need to keep it to sled stuff only, and keep the other stuff for another swap.

I agree with all above. The swap meet should be seperated, sled parts to the right, garage sale crap to the left. Even the manufactures need to be further removed from that stuff. Its all fun until you need to eat.

I was thier from 6:30am to 4:45 pm and only sat down 2 times for about 10 minutes each. This was my first year and was very impressed i will deffinatly go back next year would have gone both days if i didnt have to work the second day.

Great buys extremaly happy with everything i purchased and managed to pick up a freedom axle at a very a good price wish i had more money would have got a whole setup of wheels.THANK YOU VERY MUCH MMP. I also managed some 9 inch fly riser and pivot block for $30.

The food was okay farily expensive but hey people got to make money. The beer was not a bad price i managed to spend 22 dollars and finish 2 pitchers (bad idea after walking all day and not eating anythin but a corn dog).

Enjoyed the freestyle alot it really got me excited to ride more then i have been the last 2 months. I actually did not even watch one drag race im not totally into that.

I also agree with the previous post about the junk for sale. Not to be mean but i think the worst would have to have been the tye dye stand. The best stand i enjoyed was mmp stand i really like thier work.

I got what I was looking for this year. Hopefully at the new place next year they will have a different section for the non-snowmobile stuff, like tires, rims and wind chimes. Anybody hear how many people where there?

Totaly agree with all the crap. But what agrivated me more were all of the idiots that think it takes 2 SUV's, a pickup with a 4 place trailer, "not for sale" and a motor home to sell one sled and probably a vacum cleaner too. Can these darelicts not figure out how to consolidate their crap. It is quite apparent that they were mostly locals and did not have to figure out how to save fuel money.

Went on saturday didn't need much this year and didn't find the biggest thing I was looking for a track. So it was actually a pretty cheap year. Picked up a sweatshirt cause it was cool in the morning some movies and a new sled lift. Got some ideas for the trailer and saw some good deals on 08 M8s hopefully I can find as good of deal next year on a 09 after seeing the new sleds. Oh and saw the secret service at the AC tent they don't stand out at all lol. Overall great weather and I thought less junk then in the past but maybe I'm just getting better at ignoring it. Does anyone know why the sign telling you to exit for haydays was turned around so you couldn't read it when we went by around 8:30am Sat on 35W. Now its time to put the lift to work and get the sled ready for the winter.

We were one isle down from that guy! What a waste of space!!

The Haydays security people lost a lot of my respect today while we were loading up to leave. After ignoring (or maybe not noticing??) a guy one row down doing wheelies back and forth on his dirtbike all day long, a security guy found the time to sprint over and rip the key out of one of our sleds that we were loading and proceed to yell and rant about idiots like us getting people hurt? How the heck else do they expect us to load sleds? Carry them around the motorhome into the trailer? I realize these guys put up with a lot of crap over the weekend but give me a break and calm down, it was 100% clear what we were doing and there was no point in what they did. Just pissed me off.

I went Saturday and the weather was great. The Arctic Cat set-up was awesome. The new mountain sleds look really nice. They do need to seperate the junk from the sled parts. It would make my feet happy.

Its a snowmobile swapmeet, tires, rims and windchimes shouldn't be there.

I was kind of disappointed with the swap this year, not because of the usualy junk dealers, but because it looked like nobody even tried to clean any of the parts they had. Everything was covered in rust and just piled together, if you want to sell something you need to stand out by having a neat and clean display off all your parts. Another thing was the lack of sleds for sale and the price people wanted for their sleds on saturday! There were stock sleds from 1998 with high mileage listed for $2500, thats a little high for a summer price IMO.

But it was a good time to; meet new people, watch watch the races, get some good deals and just an overall great way to spend a day or two.

I was there on Saturday also. Was looking for a 08 800 dragon...never saw one for sale, someone told me afterwards there was one by the freestyle rigs for sale, anyone got the number of the guy??

Well hopefully it was nobody's sled on here but did you guys see the orange 05' (i think) M7 with a 800 bb and single pipe the guy wanted $10,000 for!?!?!

Tires, rims, tools

Guys who like snowmobiles ussually like this stuff too. I don't think a little of it is a bad thing. The hubcap guy was a little out of place! I managed to spend a fair amount of money and found everthing I needed. Walked all the swap areas both days. Great weather.

I didn't even bother walking through the swapmeet this year. Seemed like there were a few more actual venders this time around. That was good to see. The freestyle show was really cool too.
A couple venders I didn't see this year. Heelclickers and Mods skis. Did I just miss them?

My brother and I walked the entire thing and my legs felt it too. As everyone mentioned above, the swap was really bad again this year, it seems like more and more junk and less decent stuff - maybe something to do with the econmy, who knows. I agree that the Sno Barons need to step and let people know that junk is not wanted, but sled and ATV stuff is.

We had a great time despite the swap. The vendors were great and had fun talking with the guys from Thunderstruck. Now we just need some snow....:beer;:beer;

We had a good time this year. I got a lot of stuff that I wanted except for a few things. We walked all of the swap meet on Sat and found a few things, but there was a lot of junk. The freestyle was fun to see and even some of the trucks during the day were interesting.

Getting to talk to all the reps was a nice thing. Gave me a nice idea for things to do. The Cat area was cool to see all the moded up rider sleds and see what they put on them.

All in all it was a fun time and we got some good deals. Its amazing what they will do for deals when you say you want four of something.

It was my first year there and I will definitley be going back again. Sleds really didnt seem to be moving though. I mean we brought down probably 8? sleds and we sold 3, picked up 1. It was fun though for sure!
