Truly enjoy playing in fallen Creation all the time...

Not bashful about it, but not bashing it on you...

I fail routinely, thankful for forgiveness

Being asked if one is a christian is as vague as are the interpretations of creeds.
My beliefs lay more before interpretations and variences of the Nicene Creed.
Raised under a Christian roof, sermons delivered and interpreted as a child lead me not to really believe in the "and son". Father and Holy Ghost stay in my mind. At some points the "New Testiment" is hard for me to swollow so to speak.
Does this boil down to me as not being a christian... no.
Some Christian beliefs or views may turn people away from what is termed as modern christianity, in my mind as they feel the same as I do. They follow, but do not find truth in all interpretations. Maybe leading to somewhat non believers or turning off the flow of following, to a trickle.
There is a god in everyone's mind of some form, weather it be the guidance, ones thinking of themself, or that voice in your head that makes you do what you do. For spite, everyone is a christian of their own mind. How they transmit it or show it to others reflects their own Christianity.
The way I see it, no matter the belief, everyone is christian of their god, no matter the name, and spiritual view.
If you look at the definition of christian, in depth, like I mentioned through scripts and creeds or one owns inner beliefs... we all are christians of sort.

Didn't mean to add to contraversy or dump anyone's breakfast cerial. Just my take on the topic.
The footsteps are in the sands, no matter.

Guess that makes me a christian, huh ? No matter if I fully follow, or believe in the spirit or not.

i know a few christians and they are all brainwashed. i don't want to bash you guys, but a religion is only what you want to believe in. it gives you faith and happiness and thats fine. you guys give money hand over fist to these places and get what in return, nothing but faith. if thats how you spend your money then go for it. believe what you want but don't push it on others. you guys quote a bible written by men of his word but times have changed and the bible stays the same. your church can try to change but the book remains the same. if you read the bible (i do not) but it says things in thier that would put you in jail. something about what to expect a woman to do for you. i'll talk to the crazys here at work and post tomm a few. (we are all going to die in 2012 on dec. 21 too, right) i hear so much crap its crazy. tell me what he has done for you personally. nothing. its you that is doing it and rewarding him and thoughts of others. has he ever healed anyone you know, no a hospital did.(and you crazy will say he put the hosp. thier and the people to save him). but hey, if you want to live your life believing in this junk, go ahead, as long as your a good person to others, and yourself than you will be rewarded regaurdless in who you believe in:D:beer;:beer;:D

take it with a grain of salt it did not hurt anyone, and if it did there is still a bit of sand in their mangina.

Call it Neptune/Poseidon inplace of satan if you wish?

I consider myself one (grew up going to church every Sunday) but don't attend church in a big, fancy, new building. I do my worshiping between 4500 and 10000'. Organized religion has become just another way for people who don't want to work to get money from us that do. Makes me sick every time I see one of these guys hawking his "salvation" in a television commercial.

I don't post much, but I'll jump in here with a heck ya! Just got done with the Dr. appt. The wife got her 28 week ultrasound and I got too see my boy (who should show up in early July)! :D I just don't understand how people can view the process of pregnancy as a sheer product of two rocks colliding in space. I'm in the medical field and seeing how/why the body does what it does, I just can't believe that we evolved from single cell organisms, and that they showed up after a big bang. I was a Christian long before now though...just kind of reinforces the He is out there.

Who has read Revalations?

I don't want to sound like I've read the entire Bible, I certainly have not.

But Revalations is truly the most intriguing book I have ever read.
This is the stuff we need to be preaching to our young'ns.
I think modern christianity has fell prey to public perception & political correctness.
It seems as though they are reluctant to preach anything beyond what they think we want to hear.
I think getting in the pew to get a nice warm fuzzy has become too important.
What is wrong with "scaring the hell out of us"?
Yes, I am a big fan of Revalations!

Ya, Revalations is a good read. This is my favorite...:face-icon-small-win

6:8 And behold, a pale horse, and he who sat on it, his name was Death. Hell followed with him. Authority over one fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword, with famine, with death, and by the wild animals of the earth was given to him.

I took this as two rocks colliding couldnt make such a complex proccess as pregnancy, and other things in life. If god was a intellegent creator wouldnt he make things a little simpler??

and you cant believe single celled organisms came about on earth but you believe humans just showed up??

its actualy the book of revelation ...singular ..the reason why i think that it is sooooo important is that most people sit there yippin about how good a person they are blah blah look at me BS.....revelation is the most awsome time period that man will ever have the opportunity to be apart of ...and if we don't heed these warnings etc ...well folks ..tiny tot daycare is in for one heck of surprise ..

and if anyone should take a few minutes out and read a few passages it will become clear to the reader that we infact are indeed living in these times and that the word actually is bulletproof and TRUE because afterall ...everybody is looking for truth ...

sorry H2 i dont doubt the big bang that much, cause when people show me rocks dated millions of years old, that physical evidence right in front of my eyes just does something for the credibility for me.....cant quite put my finger on it though....
