Somebody count the amount of times that SLICK has called somebody stupid. Must be around 500! I guess the XR/Honda/Baja comment comes from the fact that I have an XR650R in supermoto trim? That XR has probably twice the technology as your HOG, cost 3-4 times less, will last twice as long, doesn't leak oil, picks up chicks that don't have tatoos and still have all of their teeth, and prefers Starbucks to the local Biker Bar. Here's one more SLICK. It(the Honda) keeps me from having to buy a T-shirt from every dealer I pass by so I can show my Harley buddies how cool I am and what cities I rode around in after unloading my HOG from the trailer

Yeah I remember the old ads, "You meet the nicest people on a Honda", I think it was a 90 cc street bike. I imagine they still make it.
Honda is an example of a successful company that is rapidly losing its market share in the ATV world, the outboards, the streetbikes, the crotch rockets and the dirt bikes. The reason I would suggest is complacency and lack of aggressive innovation and a total lack of embracing available new technology. In short they're resting on their past laurels. Hey you can't blame them, they were on top for a long time, dependable and durable. J.M.O.
If you didn't know, Harley doesn't make a dirt bike anymore.
A couple more things, Starbucks is a nice place my wife and her friends meet there for fluffy coffee drinks quite often. And yeah, tough world, but some of these guys sound really stupid, don't get all butt hurt, its the way it is.
And I don't own a trailer.
