Golden conditions

Thanks for the compliments on my xp, mine was the black 154 with the blue and white graphics kit on it, we got LIME 9 from kewlona to make them, he can make them for $ 400 for anybody with your own shops graphics/logo, total custom deal, whatever, we go him to make our kits look like our motocross teams kits.

No, that was not a member of our crew who had his sled on it's side at the cabin.
One member of our crew was climbing to the top bowl to the left of the cabin, on the right side of the valley, and did a 12 o'clock wheelie at the top,and didnt have his kill chord attached to himself, long story short his sled Ghost rode down the bowl into and through the gulley and smashed into a few trees, he was lucky it hit the tree's because if it were to have been a few feet to the right it would have lauched off the steep pitch before the bottom of the meadow like 100 feet to flat(dead ski doo). it hit the patch of tree's to the left of where the snowbarders always build a big step down jump. damage was minor,
My other buddie Rick who was riding an apex, tagged a rock side hilling and bent/cracked his spidle and bent some suspension components
The rest of us had a killer day

Hey Lucas, how was the stock clutching working for you?

Rode Golden Nov 29 & 30, snow is easily a couple weeks behind previous years. From what I have seen, only about 3 feet total max. Hopefully we get a dump pretty soon

Yes... snow is needed. However, I looked on the weather network, and both Golden and Revy, and everywhere in between, is getting snow from now through all next week. About 2+ feet in town, so that means good news even higher up I hope.

Still, the webcams show dry ground in town.

Hey Lucas, how was the stock clutching working for you?

Clutching, seemed ok, I did not play with the clickers, I will say that my sled was running really rich, I think my pdi mechanic may have put too much break-in oil in the tank(kinda as a cruel joke), at top rpms my sled was rippin, the low end(below 5500rpm, was not so good:(:( she was spittin oil at the y pipe ?)
I didnt really do enought crazy climbing to tell if my clutch set up was working good or bad, I did make all the climbs I tried no problems, and was not over revving, also I'm a intermediate level sledder so I'm learning as I go.

See everybody at the sled show on saturday.
If anybody has not got a sled yet, and is looking for a good deal come down and see me on saturday @ the sled show, we have a few surprises.
Lucas

There is just enough snow to try a hero line and really F*ck something up good.

Keep your skis in the air.

Im in golden now, we went to the cabin @ quartz and back today to just do some testing. Its been snowing perty good since about 4:00 and its like 7:30 now, theres a couple inches in town.

The trail is VERY rough but it doesnt appear as the groomers could get in to far yet. Other than that the snow is perty decent up top, kinda pounded out but some fresh stuff still...

Ill let you know how tomorrow goes.

Just got back from Quartz......this is the only photo I've had a chance to play with so far. Is there snow? I'd say....

Im goin wit him! They groomed the trail about half ways and they are charging now.. The trail is ICY, i was spinnin alot on the way up, especailly when the mogules kicked in. Slow down on corners! Creeks all filled up on trail to cabin. Alpine i would say its better up by the old cabin, we went an rode by the saddle and buddy smacked a rock pretty good, took out entier left side! Cant really pull many good lines cause at teh top its all rock and gotta turn out. Got some more tuning done. Was probably 6'' freshish at cabin, there was some deeppockets up top, but they NEED snow before i will go back for sure!!

Was out in Golden all weekend...Went to Silent Pass on saturday, about 8 inches of fresh on the road heading up. Unloaded at KM 21, trail was good until Mcmurdo Bridge, then pretty rough the rest of the way up...once we were up there, lots of snow, lakes were covered, tons up top too but visibility was limited, stayed down low for most of the day. Sunday headed out to Quartz for a couple of hours of riding, same kind of deal. Lots of fresh and poor visibility up high...stayed till about 12:30 and then made the slow drive back to Calgary...All in all pretty good weekend, snow was needed for sure...hope to be back out next weekend

Hey GSR, Just checked out your vid.. nice work! super smooth quick reacting cam.. what kind is it??
