We hit quartz 2 days in a row. The riding was awesome for early season still the odd mexican jumping rock. But all in all it was a good trip.

we were up to on Sat and Sunday
snow was really good..better Sunday as it dumped all night
only one stump found, not an issue though
visability was poor to good in some areas, but overall ok
we rode silent at this time last year and the snow/conditions were 100% better this year
warmer temps so snow was really heavy and wet
we (my bro in law and i) were both breakin in new engines
me - new top end him - new 840SHR
so didnt get too crazy but no repairs needed and both ran great
REVY is next weekend, engines are broken in so now we can RIP IT UP

only took some stucks, but you can see that there is a decent amount of snow

ya it was socked in, that mexcian jumping rock 08$$$dragons talking about was the one that got my new XP, lower left arm, made it back to the truck alright!!!

Tavis Im going to be so jelous of you rip out there in your's or Dustin's truck...
That parking lot is a decent size, you'll be fine with a trailer(How big)
And the guy going to Valemount... you'll be VERY impressed.

So is it worth dragging the sleds to Silent or Quartz from Cranny

Quartz is only what.. 3 or 4 steps to the cabin, compared to last week when it was 9 or 10, so there's snow now, Im sure you guys will be good.

Going to Golden Sunday, but would like to carry on to Silent or even better, Chatter if possible.... anyone have news on either places?
Chatter's webcam isn't up yet, but their report says 35 cm in the past 24 hours... pretty good.

Me and a buddy are both doing the maiden voyage on our new xp 154's.....talking about Quartz on Saturday and Hope on Sunday. Here's hoping for a bit more snow by then.....
