Update

Well made some progress today.

I got my oil tank all welded back up and it don't leak :D
got the mounts made and got it mounted in the chassis. Also did some more on the rider select and figured out i can use the 06 parts and make mine work so i got them ordered.

then it took me and hour and a half to clean the garage again after the tornado of work that went on this weekend :p

so the only real issue left is the coolant tank and i have one on order that i think i can make work.

So for anyone listening don't try to put an 06 motor in an 05 unless you like fabrication ;):D

good thing i am a gluten for punishment

AWESOME...

I am sure you cant wait to get that baby going...

what else do you have left besides the coolant bottle...any more mods?

no more mods don't have time for any more :D

i have to put everything back together but don't want to do that till i get the coolant bottle figured out. i have taken the motor in and out too many times already like 12 or so

Well I was setting it in and taking it out when i was trying to get the steering post in the right place. What a pain but it does make me feel more accomplished when it is done.

I will know that not too many guys have an 06 motor in their 05 :p

I will post up more pics of the column move and oil tank on my photobucket slideshow tonight

BD if I can help with anything on the steering postor anything else please let me now I would be proud to put Mark on such a sweet build

if you are still making them how much?

as for putting your mark on my beast it is already on her. i have your awesome chain case cover on it. btw it is sweet.

Simple You need and 05 base and an 06 bracket! Mix and match .Sounds like you have had lots of fun that way building a "Hybrid"
