BDawg, remember who you're dealing with...a guy that doesn't like to park sleds on his trailer. Would rather launch into a new truck so of course he's gonna be a tight wadd.

Gotta keep up with them there deductibles.

Nice build btw, now I'm questioning why I bought a dragon 8 and not stuck with my original plan of totally modding the 9. At least I kept the 9.

yeh i remember that from last year he can't remember which lever is the go and which is the stop ;);):D:D:beer;:beer;

yes i love my 9 but dang it is a money pit :p but i can say the same thing about every sled i have owned i never leave them stock. stock sucks :D;)

yes it is the polaris 32mm crank kit and yes new cases. basically it will be a completely new motor. that is what caused me a slight delay. I forgot to get some of the bolts i needed. spaced off the fact that i didn't have a motor with all the bolts :p. so i will finish it up this weekend.

Dam BD your stimulating the economy all by yourself. Its looking good! Did I see a tied secondary in those pics? I will be looking for feedback on that!

yes it is a tied secondary. look in my sig that is the helix i am going to run i also have a 75-57 .46/75-59 .46 to try with a few springs 120-220, 140-240, 140-200

and yes it seem like i am trying to stimulate the economy by myself :rolleyes: lol

cool! I am to chicken to go with the "new one " so figure it out and let me know!;)

maybe soon I will have some $$ to finish my sled . I'm jealous

I think of it this way i love new things and someone has to be the guinea pig :D:p:D

and i really like the concept and think it will be a better clutch. getting it dialed in will be the hard part. indy dan gave me a few pointers and team has a excel spreadsheet to help with the conversion from the tss98/tss04 to the new tied.

i have modified version of that calculator that lets you compare 4 diff. setups if anyone wants.

thanks guys.

well worked on it all lastnight and all today. Ran into a big problem. i decided to go with the 06 motor in my 05 and that was a mistake. I had to relocate my steering column because it hit the injectors.

then my oil tank wouldn't fit so i had to cut it up and modify it to get it to work. still working on plastic welding it back together. now i have to figure out what to do for a coolant bottle so i ordered the 06 bottle and hoses.

also had to decide to eliminate the moveable column. also have to cut the top of my column and reweld it to make it level. so it has been one heck of a day good thing i can fabricate. :D

one good thing i am getting really good at setting the engine in the chassis. :D:D had it in and out a dozen times today. :(:(

WOW...BD...lol...sounds like you got a hell of a day and more to come..lol...

keep it up, it will be worth it..soon...very soon... ;)

p.s. I got the "stuff" today :D:beer;
