well i didn't tear mine down near as far as you did
just doing the 975 kit and 09 plastic this season and a tunnel extension. will get some pics up this weekend

My 975 kit just showed up yeee haaaa!! now i know what i will be doing tonight

but i think you will be too busy burning a dvd for me, so your sled might have to wait..lol...

mine was a 151 so the 144 and 151 used the same tunnel and the 159-166 use the longer tunnel. the 159 fits but it is right at the flap so i wanted a better rear bumper and ve makes the bumper extension for the raw chassis and i am going to see if i can make it work.
yes i plan on taking pics so if it works i can show you all how to do it.

made some progress tonight.
I got the new tunnel extension modified to fit the iq chassis. it was a bumper extension for a raw chassis but with just a couple of mods it worked perfect on the old 9.
also got the old front plastic removed. now for some cleaning and i will assemble the engine thursday and hopefully get the rest done and put together this weekend

i am excited to get it together.
lastnight i got the chassis all cleaned up. well cleaned up for me. not to some peoples standards though
and i got all my motor parts sorted out and laid out on the bench. Going to assemble the long block tonight. I want to get the motor done and in the chassis before i put the 09 plastics on so i don't have to work around them.
so far everything is going along pretty smoothly. I will keep all posted and will be posting more pics up on the photo bucket slide show tonight or tomorrow.

If carl's is not going to continue there is another man that works real close with Jack. He is a great motor man. Not to far from Boise, about 60 miles and can do the 1140.

BD...looks great man..i considered the VE bumper as well..i thought it would work too, but since the SKINZ one is slightly cheaper, i will go that route..but that looks awesome...
Cant wait to see the finsihed product...gonna be pretty wicked!

BDawg, remember who you're dealing with...a guy that doesn't like to park sleds on his trailer. Would rather launch into a new truck so of course he's gonna be a tight wadd.
Gotta keep up with them there deductibles.
Nice build btw, now I'm questioning why I bought a dragon 8 and not stuck with my original plan of totally modding the 9. At least I kept the 9.
