The 06 and 05 motors have completely different fuel injection set-up. The 05 being a 60psi 2 injector whereas the 06 is a 120psi 4 injector with different fuel mapping.
Going to drop some $$$ getting 975

oh i know all the differances between the systems. the missconcepttion i made was the injectors were the same. it would have worked if i would have used my 05 injectors.
but that still dont explain the lean with the right pressure.
i am going to have rob send me the 06 ecu and just finish making it an 06.
oh well i love to learn and work on these things

Well the saga continues, got the new ecu from htg on friday, installed it friday night now the sled wouldn't run at all. changed the complete wire harness to the 06 so everything was 06 and still wouldn't run. plugged my stock ecu back in and it started right up.
so it looks like they sent me a blank ecu with out a program in it. I am about fed up with htg. we will see how they handle it today but i am only a week away from my first trip and it isn't looking good.

it is done other than getting the ecu in. that is what sucks but i have back up plans i just don't want to use them.
i am hoping they make it right and get me an ecu by wed. but i have to wait till 9 my time to call. all their voice mail boxes are full so i can't even leave a message. maybe that is a bad sign too

I don't wanna put anyone down or say bad things but.... Ouiji Board don't lie, this is a bad sign!
I feel your pain though, put all this time and money into it and you can't even ride it when you want to! I spent too much money and work to damn hard to have less than 40 days of riding!

i hear ya there i only sled 3 weeks a year. I will get it going it is just a matter of if i have to do all the tuning myself or not. wasn't expecting to but ya have to do what ya have to do.

975 Breathing fire!!!!!!!
Yeeeeee Haaaaaa the 975 is finally alive.
it is running on the ecu alone with no boondocker thank god. now sat i will finish assembling it and take it for a ride since we got 14 inches of snow yesterday.
I will get some pics of it in the snow up sunday after its maiden voyage.

i am just glad it started an ran. i sure love the fuel pump prime i wired up. i wired it to the start position on my ignition key. just turn the key listen for the pump, pull the cord and away it goes.

So how's it sound compared to stock? Jeeze there's alot of nice 900's around here. Mine looks duct taped together compared to yours.
thanks, i really haven't run it hard yet but it sounds pretty much like my bro's stock 900. we both have the cpi cans so they are a little loud anyhow
