Is there even enough snow left to get back there this year. I havent even ridden down there except for one day this year and we had to stay away from anything steep.

Went up today it's not going to be the best year but not terrible. There were some fast sleds already up there.

I rode back to the race bowl last Saturday the snow was OK.
Their is enough snow for me to get the BBQ to the race bowl.
Stop by for a hot dog.

Snow was slushy, there are a few spots where you have to ride over the tops of sagebrush and dodge some rock, but I wouldn't let that deter you from coming....theres plenty of snow to ride on. We only had to ride on about 30' of dirt road and the rest was on snow. I would recommend staying up high and bowl hopping over instead of coming up from the bottom of the canyon. The lower you go, the worse the snow gets. Its a pretty easy ride from the parking lot to the race bowl, you'll see the tracked out path that leads you there. The race bowl itself is pretty well covered with decent snow still, should be a good day. Here are pics of the bowl that I took and a few other pics as well. Its a lot better than I thought it would be....come on down.

Wow I think that is about the least amount of snow I have seen there this time of year. Looks like you can still make it there though. Wish I could make it down there tomorrow but don't think i will be able to.

I heard that there were some fish cops being major doucebags and rabblerousing some innocent folks.....what a pathetic joke. I have one rule with those idiots. Turn and run whenever possible cause no matter how legal you are you are never legal enough they will always dig for something to be a jacknob About. Hope everyone had fun otherwise.

Ya I'm thinking there was more to it. I had a bud get popped at Monte for not buying the Utah sticker for the 3 hours of riding we did. If I remember it was an $80 ticket and I know he did not have his title with him.

Same bud got popped riding wilderness in Wy and stopped when the fish cops waived him down. 1/2 the group hauled ars and ran and got the same $200 ticket in the parking lot. So my rule is always haul cuz either way it's the same ticket if they are waiting at your truck
