Getting close to finishing my wc1200 and was wondering what clutch everyone likes and what setup your running for 10,000ft. Just wondering what everyone thinks and I can baseline it from there. I was thinking of buying a new p-85 but there might be other options. It is in a gen2 bulkhead

Go for the P85. As good as it gets.

Okay What does everyone think about a Holtz coilover setup in my Gen2 WC sled for mountain riding? It will go in a 2000 rmk chassis with a 159 x 2 track? All opinions good or bad welcome. Anyone have firsthand experience? What is Holtz like for product support?
Also I know extroverts are manditory but what about the drop and roll? Not for track clearance but for deep snow riding?

Also thanks for all the clutch response. I have both poo and cat secondarys to play with and a couple of P 85s also.

Can only speak from Cat exp. with the Holz but I did not have any luck with it behind my 1150. Could never keep the front down as it dosen't like sleds with over 200 hp when climbing. On the trail it was a smooth ride but point it up and transfered weight to fast was better with the kicker shock but still to much transfer.

The holz is a great skid but it trnsfers too much and heavy springs are not available. I have talked to Mark a few times about this but he has to get 50 min to order them. I ended up stacking springs but that made it coil bind.... thinking maybe a float might work but do not want to spend 400 just to find out.

running a holz coilover on my prox and it does tend to be light in the front even with the 144, you can take some transfer out but ride quality starts to go away.

Way better than stock though!

The longer the track the better it works? Or am I backwards? I want to run the 159 track.

Hillboy if it is just a spring issue I am pretty sure my roadrace guy can build any spring I ask for. Do you know what kind of rate I would want to ask about? Length rate and diameter?

I have a set of 1200 Cases if someone wants to take them off my hands, seems this project is not gonna get off the ground for me for a couple of years and by then something else might be cookin. $325 Shipped, they are in good condition, save for a little groove under one of the connecting rods, nothing that will stop these from getting used, they are ready to ship.
