Thanks ottar88, i think this gets me started. Going to use cs pipes and it is ported too. Going to put some pics when i get more parts here. Cylinders and upper case is in porting now and brad works to get me some other parts. Thanks for great service this far!

I think i stick with the team for now, have had good experiences with it on previous sleds plus many of my friends use team also so have a good variety of parts to test with.

Easier to run mechanical reverse.

I do in the 1050, and it has held up fine for many years now.

Thinking of putting one in my 1200 also.

good luck sticking that in a rev a ultra based motor or a mach z tripple has been done but the w/c motors are two big. just by a iqr and then i will sell you a drop in kit that will bolt together . I dont think the reverse is possible since there are no tripple ignitions that have the reverse options in them . Good luck.

Brad

Got my crankcases finally. Looks to be a tight fit but it should work.
Now to figure if I can get the 809 mach ignition to fit!

I will get some pics when I get started. Not sure when that will be, I just got a 920 twin in the sled that has yet to see snow. I will be getting with you on some parts tho.

98 700 XC pipes

Ive been following this thead for a while, very interesting stuff. I love the big triples.

I have a set of HOT SEAT twin pipes off a 98 Wedge. if someone wants them for a W/C 1050 or what ever $100. in SK Canada. pm me

I guess the thread has something against me. I can view the entire thread when not logged in but when I am logged in I get an "Internal Server Error". Sucks too, because I just bought a 1200 and I am going to be using this thread alot for reference.

EDIT: I got it figured out, I had my options set to 50 posts per page and for some reason the Forum didnt like that after all the updates. Switched it to 20 posts per page and now I can view the entire thread while logged in.

My pipes suck so bad and I do not have 1500 dollars for a set but I do have a set of non ves slp with a can and I would love to have a set of triples with a can... any suggestions.

I just aquired a 1200 and I have a few questions for you guys.

1. What gear ratio do you guys mainly trail riding these run? I am running at 144x2 with 9 tooth drivers.

2. Can anyone riding one from 0-3000 give me a starting point on clutching and jetting? I am running a P-85 wide roller primary, Polaris button secondary and 40mm round slides.

3. Anyone run a Variflow? I am sure there is no reason I couldnt.

4. I have Crankshop pipes and they have the 29mm high alt stinger, most of my riding is around 2000 feet. Are the high alt stingers too tight for my elevation? Will I see a noticeable drop in HP running them down here? If so, can I just cut off the 29mm stingers and weld on 32mm's?

29s

probably wont want to run the 29s down low, will be too restrictive. power loss i think

What gear ratio should I use for 10000 ft with my 1200. Gonna do reverse and need to order the gears i am running a 159x2

yea ive been told by brad to run 2.0 -2.10 with 9 tooth mabe 1.9 with lower elivation so yea 20-40 19-39 or so should be good dont go less than 19 on top tho.

Per Brad I'm going to be running 20/42, with a 159" X 2". I'm using 10 thooth drivers though

with 10 tooth i would run like 2.20 at minuim 2.10 maybe a little high. I gear all my stuff about 2.05 to 2.10 for a 159 x2 with 9 tooth.

brad

reverse

is it a manual reverse^^? i have that in a modded 800 and it bearly holds togather. might be a risky setup for real horsepower? i always manage to gradually grind the drive pins down till they will eventually give unexpectedly throwing you into the bars and sometimes over
