Lynn, did you have any trouble tuning three manifolds? I have heard they are a PITA to get one right no less three.

you could cut the bulk head, if ya do make sure to reinforce it again. i did this a few years ago and the bulk head only lasted one season before it cracked to hell. it did have about 4000 miles on it when i droped the 1200 into it.
The second bulkhead i used, i raised the engine about 1/2 inch off the engine plate that i got from brad. this put the bottom of the engine above the part that you would have to cut out. very easy to do. i have some pics somewhere if you want em. either way its gonna hall azz and break that chassis........ every Edge ive seen last a few seasons before the bulkhead is toast.
Dont do that !! If you do that you will not have a pure Polaris motor anymore
That would be the same as if your wife had a horse leg....she would probebly run as hell a few days but she would not be pure....and ugly as hell...LOL
WTF??? Ugly
Dude, these powerplants are anything but ugly. And the power + reliability you get is hard to beat...

I'm sure Woody ment that any wife would be ugly with a horse's leg! lol.
That said, price motors are far from as appealing as a pwc case with polaris cylinders and a nice one-piece head!
The price configuration is old school, and not as good, nor as good looking!
I.M.O.
Ps. And I know for a fact Woody just dynoed a safe 260 hp in a Pure Polaris 1200.
So there are both power an reliability.
And that's not at 9500rpm, but at a calm 8500rpm.
