Funny how much they hated the police until they got trapped there without OIL to keep them warm or get them where they needed to go.

The numbers at the main camp were in the thousands......

Now they estimate the main camp somewhere between 400 and 600 is the last numbers I heard.

Some have gone home, but several have now taken up residence in our local hotels / motels. I have spoke with people recently and they said it's tough to get a hotel room around here as so many are booked up.

So now they are pretty much "hanging out" here waiting to see what happens.

The national news this morning said -30 air temp for Bismarck Sunday morning. Maybe they can keep warm by burning fossil fuels that are delivered to all of us through a pipeline.

I spend a few nights on the road in ND every month. Stayed in Bismarck last Tuesday, many of the hotels were booked completely. Rates at the ones that did have rooms were $15-40 higher than normal. Prices still were not as high as they were when Trump stopped in Bismark last summer tho.
