Buying American Made save your future

I love when someone tells me "You need to start buying American". My usual reply to this is if your going to give me the money, then I will buy what ever products you want. If I am the one going to work everyday to earn a living with no help from UAW members, Democrats, Republicans or uncle Fred down the street, then I will spend my money how and where I see fit.

Thought this was interesting. I have been watching this debate
and yet to weigh in. As far as sleds go, given the current situations facing us, I would buy which ever sled finally stood up and took a head on approach to fighting land closures.

Pay attention Americans!

WORTH SENDING AROUND, SINCE THEY ARE IN TROUBLE NOW.

GM, Ford, & Chrysler

INTERESTING...maybe the country should consider bailing them out to some degree

Nothing needs to be said... Ford, Chrysler and GM's contributions after 9/11

An interesting commentary...You might find this of interest:

CNN Headline News did a short news listing regarding Ford and GM's

Whenever the time may be for you to purchase a new vehicle, keep this information in mind. You might want to give more consideration to a car manufactured by an American-owned and / or American based company. Apart from Hyundai and Volkswagen, the foreign car companies contributed nothing at all to the citizens of the United States ... It's OK for these companies to take money out of this country, but it is apparently not acceptable to return some in a time of crisis. I believe we should not forget things like this. Say thank you in a way that gets their attention..

Buying American sounds great and patriotic but unfortunately people want quality and the best bang for their buck and that can't always be found with American products. Our government taxes the he!! out of corparations who in turn have to pass that on to the consumer not to mention cut corners to be competative with foreign manufactures. Someone also made reference to Unions, that's another big issue. I think anyone would be hard pressed to find a motorsports product, or any other product for that matter that has been solely produced in the U.S. . That is just a fact of life. Toyota, Subaru and many other foreign products are built right here in the U.S. by Americans. Remember when Wal-mart first started, they claimed all their products were from the U.S., how long did that last??? It's all good in theory but doesn't work well in practice. We have a global economy and that is not likely to ever change. JMHO.

He's on it. Quality and cost beats the he** out of patriotism. I love my country, i served a term in the army, and would do it again when my country needed me, but why pay outrageous prices for unreliability when i can get a sweet deal on 40 mpg??? dunno, hard subject to come to terms with
