WOW FA! You own a dealership? I'd hate to do business with you if you get this worked up over a raffle! What happens when a customer has an issue with something you sell? Hate to see that **** storm!

By the way, you do pay taxes on your winnings from a raffle, just like if you won the lottery. I know, I won a trip to Hawaii and received my 1099 at the end of the year and paid our good old IRS 28% on the retail value of the trip. You really need to pinpoint a value on the sled, so people can decide if they want to pay the taxes, if they should be so lucky to win.

I guess if you want to guarantee that someone WON'T pay taxes on the sled, if they win, I'm sure that would put alot of people at ease and you'd probably sell out of the tickets in a heartbeat. That is, if you haven't already!

Just my 2 cents. Have a nice day!:)

Michelle misquoted a couple things. She is 6'5'' and 270lbs but quite timid!!!! I'll be buy for some tickets. Good job Michelle!! JS

I do business with Michelle on a weekly basis and I've never had a bad experience. She gets worked up and when things go wrong and that emotion is directed at getting your issue resolved. This raffle is considerably more complicated to put on than you think. Yes, she will benefit from the outcome but so will everyone else involved, I don't understand why so many people so completely unaffected by this feel the need to complain about it.

I'll go this far, valued at $25,000! Thanks for over stating my tax liability if I do win it! At best I'm thinking mid teens. This economy anything over 10 you better take it. I know what it is and who built it you don't have to remind me. It just made me go hmmmm...when I got my tickets. I'm sure all other proceeds will go to the worthy cause. Thanks for the ticks.

RF

did you buy a ticket? did someone put a gun to your head?

simple solution to your tax liability, dont buy ticket...

I tell you what...how many tickets did you buy? I tell you what, I will go one step further...If the tickets that you purchased, end up winning the sled, I will donate the sled back free and clear (i.e. I will pay the tax) to SAWS, for them to auction it again...Sound good?

I will buy them from you...just dont post in here again...

fair enough...contact michelle, and she knows who I am and will refund you your money, and issue the tickets to me...

Anyone that has their motives and intent questioned is going to get emotional...It is part of being someone who cares about your reputation and character...

I have never met Michelle or her husband or father (who owns the dealership) but have NO problem sending friends to her for a fair and honest deal...which says a LOT about my trust in her and their team...I have bought THOUSANDS of dollars worth of stuff from her, and never once had an issue with either shipping or getting the wrong thing...cant say that for a lot of dealers...well there was that one time she sent me two of something...but then again she knows I break lots of stuff, and must have just assumed I would break it... :)

She is a dealer that I gladly leave a credit card on file with and dont even bother to ask the prices on things!!!

All the above being said, I consider Michelle a friend, and will do so for life...she is unabashedly GOOD people, and will step in to help her regardless of the fight!!!

besides if the Chairman of the Fed doesnt have to pay taxes why shoudl we :) kidding obviously...as to the value of the sled, I think she has stated fair market value...$25K and I think Hoe provided a comparable of one a year older...It would be VERY dishonest to post much lower value with comparables readily available...

Well said MT!

I know I would of gone off too if someone called me out and questioned my integrity!:(

You my friend are a DOUCHE BAG!

I think admin should post who the alters are instead of just quietly making them go away. I'm sure the forum would be interested to know who DukeChuteRider really is.

I'm not just singling out this one alter, there have been other ones that I'm sure people would be surprised to see.

Kinda like an azzbag Thread?

Yeah, something like that. It seems like if you made people accountable for their alters then this kind of crap would probably stop.

That would be sweet, and quite funny. But back on topic, everyone get out and get your tickets, cause the sooner they are all sold the sooner I can take my new 1200 home!

Anyone who can dog on someone willing to donate that much money in an econ. like this douche pay up and match the donation. if your so all that like your #'s prove cause I suck at math and I got more than your 17g's. so take your money for the ticket and get some more education cause yours didn't work.

Props to you guys for wanting to donate any of the raffle because I still would have bought a ticket with out knowing about the donation I mean come on Have seen that sled. That and I had the money for the ticket most likely would never have the money for the sled. People here On SW have seen my sled its ugly and hardly runs so the pic of that sled is all I needed.:D

I just don't understand you people. Yes I did buy tickets. Quite alot of them in my opinion in this economy. I didn't really care if I won it or not. Just wanted to make the contribution. I wasn't bashing anyone. I don't know about the other guy that you guys are pi**ing all over, but I was talking about tax liability. I personally don't think the G should get anymore of our money. Also if it was going to such a good cause why not make the value more (in my opinion) accurate and have more of the proceeds go to the cause? After all it is a USED sled.

You get all bent out of shape about this. Personally I would be embarrassed if the person I had running my raffle of anything responded to someone in the way they did. Why couldn't she just respond with facts and not resort to swearing and name calling? Man we sound like a bunch of libs. No wonder we can't unite for a good cause.

Don't post here again...who made you God. Wow what a place. :(

I think it just goes to show how passionate she is about her cause and what she is actually doing this for not to offend anyone. But hey I would freak if some douche bag called me out and said I was full of BS I found that the people on here may not know each other personally but they are all united as a giant group of friends who absolutely love our sport.

I AM the Raffle sweetheart!!! I started it got it rolling busted my butt to get the permit. I tried to sell it on here and ppl like Duke HAD to post and tell me what this sled was worth without even seeing it in person! So i decided to come up with the raffle. This JERK is another guy who does nothing but make my life hell on this forum whenever he can because he can't be a man and use his real name. Afraid that ppl will see him for what he really is. So YES by god i lost my temper!! If someone was calling you dishonest and underhanded what would you do? Sit there suckin your thump pulling your ear going Oh well? I have freakin had it!!!!! Anybody wants to call me out just give me a call I would be MORE then happy to explain to you in baby talk what it is I do on a daily basis NOT INCLUDING this raffle. For the guys and Gals who have stood up for me and defended me thank you, ya all know I have a temper when provoked if any on my statements offended anyone Not directly related to this I am sorry. Least i can admit when i am wrong......Not many ppl would!!!!!!!!

Mr Fink I would be more then happy to refund you your money since i have offended you with my temper. Maybe if you have had the type of experience's on here that I have had in the past you would be quick to temper too. But lets not judge someone. I see you were just as quick to jump on the bash wagon. You seemed like a very nice man when I sold you your tickets.

No need for a refund. I'm happy with making my contribution. I'm sure I have no shot at winning it anyway. (Especially now!;)) By the way have you checked into the tax liability? I'm right aren't I? In theory if I won the sled I would be paying tax for it on this years taxes?

Just because I asked a question that means I'm not a nice man? Sorry if I ruined you opinion of me.

By the way how many tix do you have left? I may want to scue my chances at winning!
