Big trouble today - help needed!!!!

Pictures never do give the credit of how steep things really are. I'm glad everyone made it out safe and I'm glad to see some POWDER there! :D

So Top,
You still coming down to ride with me next week?hahahahaha:D

Powder, sugar, water, pockets of air and logs. Ron straddled a log when he stepped and dropped right on it. nothing but air under, i'm still woundering why it took him so long to up himself from the log! LOL! That Rev had issues. Thanks for the worning guys. Could of used it before stuck 3 times on that thing. You said it TOP, pics don't do justice. The s*** they dropped in was in sane up close.

In spite of the issues, thanks for getting my pig out of there. I'm gonna get that tether replaced this week.

Great pictures for us, that looks real steep and as stated pictures seems to make things flat a bit, glad to see all smiles in the photos.:)

Note to self- Take spencer to find christmas tree next year.:face-icon-small-win You lead Spencer, I got your back bud!!!:face-icon-small-coo

Don't worry..... I'll be right behind you :p

oh my! lol

ok. think about this. 2 of the guys with us, Kyle and Andris are basically flatlander sledders. they live in FL and have done all their riding in NH until they got a place here this year. This really is season one of real mountain riding. These two dropped into the same crap we ALL did and did not hit trees. They hung in there busting *** to get the sleds off that hill. never a complaint. They had radios and EPIRBs, beacons, shovels and gear. At the recovery they had shovels in hand, had bought snow shoes for this and busted their butts to get the last approch do able. These 2 guys earned their mountain wings with me and I will ride with them any time. Lesson learned about what makes a mountain rider. DESIRE! they won't see this but my hat is off to those 2 guys!!!! They flew out of SLC at 1 am for FL and Kyle said he slept from take off to landing. LOL. yup! :)

Here is part of an e-mail I just got from Kyle who is back in FL and heading back here again this weekend. Class kid!! here's his comments about S&R...

"I thanked those guys Saturday too for letting me be in a nice warm bed. We are donating to them right? I will bring that money with me this weekend for the voluntary chopper.

I am still kinda like WOW what happend on Sat. Agree with Doug, great excercise, adventure, and lessons learned. Again, I had a wonderful time with all of you and let's go riding again." - Kyle

Rock, thanks for reminding me and everybody else about the efforts put forth by others. I was down in the trenches with you guys and really couldn't get the full grasp of went went on up top. Apparently those guys dug out 5 feet of snow to create an escape runway for us to launch out of. Ya rock, LAUNCH, remember??? LOL.

You can see the depth of the side wall in the previous pic.

What a team of great people pulling together. :beer;:D

Hector, sorry to hear about the large hole in your belly pan. Maybe silicone some pet screen over it and call it a vent. LMAO:face-icon-small-ton

Good old mex duck tape!!! LOL! Looks like you were hurting from the straddle drop on to the log in the last pic Ron, Still smiling though!
